Mrs Deepika Rao – Member Ex-officio

Ms. Dipika is an engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, followed by a post graduation degree in Mathematics and another one in Management of Learning Disabilities. She has worked in schools offering international and national curricula, both in India and abroad. Some of these schools are The British School and The Shri Ram School in Delhi, Oberoi International School and MLSI in Mumbai, EISB in Bangalore, GEMS in Dubai and Kolkata and Dubai International Academy.

Ms Dipika is well versed in IB, CAIE, CBSE & ICSE curricula. Her long tenure in international schools has given her an exposure to the best practices and child centred pedagogy to create happy learning environments that provide stimulus for inquiry, innovation and creation. She has worked on authorizations of all three IB programs- PYP, MYP and DP. She has also provided consulting to other schools on MYP authorization and review, including Indus International School, Pune and Oakridge International School, Hyderabad. Ms Rao has successfully led schools that are diverse in nature , both in terms of curricula and community. She enjoys teaching and has taught Math HL, TOK and Physics. She is also a Math HL examiner with the IB and has been instrumental in setting up STEAM lab and integrating it with the curriculum.She has also led national curriculum schools through their affiliation process including GEMS school in Kolkata.

Ms Dipika loves reading, traveling and creative pursuits. Her personal philosophy is ‘ Invoke the divine in you to become the truest version of yourself’.
