History of DPSG Society
Founded in 1980, The Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society has traversed three and a half decades to emerge amongst the top performing schools in India. With 11 schools and more than 13,000 students, DPSG now prepares to reach out to 1, 00,000 students across India, providing quality education. The DPSG teachers and students have, both, shown remarkable skills in all fields: academics, co-scholastic and sports with consistent high performance in the CBSE examinations, IIT Joint Entrance and Medical entrance examination.
Delhi Public School Ghaziabad was conceived and founded by Mr. Om Pathak, the then District Magistrate of Ghaziabad in 1980 with support from Sh. Dharamvira and Lt. Colonel Dr. GPS Waraich, the then Principal of DPS, Mathura Road.
The school commenced operations in a hired building in Raj Nagar on the 5th September, 1980. The foundation stone of the new building was laid by Sh. Dharamvira, on the 19th of April, 1981. The school has made steady progress over the past 40 years.
History DPSG DEHRADUN
Established in April 2015, DPSG-DEHRADUN, is a unique co-educational day school in the Valley promoted by The DPSG Society. The Society had well recognized schools in the Ghaziabad region. It was this expertise that the Chairman, Shri Om Pathak, decided to bring to Dehradun and set up a school that would prepare students with skills and competencies needed in the 21st century, along with an infrastructure that matched the ideology of the Society.

The School, located at Selaqui, with all the amenities of a progressive School, is designed to provide world-class education complemented with the best day- school facilities. The School offers an exciting experiential and a hands-on/ minds-on Curriculum from Grade 1 – Grade 12. In July 2020 it’s first batch of Alumni graduated out of its portals with flying colours.

The School, built over pristine 15 acres of lush green environs and surrounded by two magnificent mountain ranges, is a learning haven away from the noise and pollution of the city. The school today is recognized as an institution par excellence for imparting quality education with due emphasis on extracurricular activities.
Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Vasundhara commenced on May 3, 1999 and has carved a niche for itself in the vicinity. DPSG Vasundhara with its comprehensive vision of, ‘A happy school with a blend of values, tradition, technology and a quest for excellence’ stands committed to imparting quality education for the holistic development of the children. The school identifies, encourages and endeavors to hone the creative and intellectual faculties of the children.
The DPSG International came into being in the year 2008 - a school that has established systems to enable lifelong learning, self-development and improved performance for excellence all round. The school involves all stakeholders in understanding and implementing the mission and quality objectives and ensures effective delivery of curriculum keeping in view current educational thinking and pedagogy. The DPSG International follows the Primary Years Program [PYP] of International Baccalaureate. PYP is a futuristic and international program for students of classes I to V.
DPSG Palam Vihar, Gurugram-Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society acquired Chiranjeev Bharti School Palam Vihar and its associate schools in 2016 under the expansion programme to mark its presence in Gurgaon. DPSG Palam Vihar is now poised to redefine school education, setting new benchmarks to become a destination school for the students residing in Gurugram.
DPSG Sushant Lok, Gurugram-DPSG Society also acquired the erstwhile Chiranjeev Bharti School, Sushant Lok in 2016 with the same objective to impart world-class education for the overall development of the students. DPSG Sushant Lok offers to its students an education, which is 21st century in its approach, driven by a passion for knowledge and seeking brilliance in every idea of student and learning.
DPSG Starz-In 2016, the DPSG Society had set up following pre-schools in Gurugram with a concept of empowering each child to be an enthusiastic and life-long learner and to be a confident and responsible global citizen. It has proven track record that every child is unique and can grow multi-dimensionally with able guidance of talented teachers and conducive learning environment of the school.

DPSG Damoh, a co-educational day school opened in 2015 by the DPSG Society as a partner school under its expansion program to establish destination schools providing high quality education across India and abroad.
DPSG - SEHORE, a co-educational day school is promoted by the Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society. The School, located at Sehore, M.P. is designed to provide world-class education complemented with the best day- school facilities. The School offers the CBSE Curriculum from Nursery – Grade 12.
DPSG FARIDABAD- Among its many acquisitions, DPSG Society acquired the erstwhile Presidium School in April of 2019, putting its 40 plus years of experience in the ﬁeld of education into awakening our young learners' minds, while pursuing excellence in every ﬁeld. The School is divided in to three wings:
SENIOR SECONDARY WING
The School added its Senior Secondary Wing in 2018 and is offering the Science, Humanities and the Commerce Streams. The students at this level are accepted as young adults and have a voice in all school matters. The School Captains, both Boy and Girl are selected from Grade 11 and are effective leaders till the end of Term 1.
Besides the academic requirements of the CBSE curriculum, the students are encouraged to pursue Arts, both Performing and Visual and take up membership of any active Club in the School .Physical Education is also a Mandatory part of their routine. Outings, Field trips and Leadership Camps to build skills and competencies and support them in acquiring the right attitude, values and behavior.
Career Counselling is integral to their making decisions and choices based on their aptitude and interests. A full-time school Behavioral Counsellor supports them along with their Teacher Mentors to stride through these otherwise challenging years where the Board Examination always looms ahead.
The Graduation Ceremony at the end of the two years in the Secondary School marks their final entry into adulthood and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
It is headed by the Headmistress Ms Sangeet Shivam, an alumna of University of Delhi (Hindu College and Central Institute of Education) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry [gold medalist], she has over two decades of experience in the field of education-teaching and assuming leadership roles.
Apart from having excellent communication skills, she has developed recruiting, mentoring & evaluating teachers, team empowerment, motivation, development & management skills over these years.
MIDDLE AND SECONDARY WING
The Middle years are always full of excitement, high and lows and incidents that come with those growing adolescent years. The transition from Junior School to the High School see not only the curriculum expectations grow more defined, but even the students start finding their identity, have a voice and a choice in everything and are raring to go . The School Curriculum design supports them with choosing areas of their interest in the Foundational Domain and pursuing it, be it Sports, Performing or Visual Arts. Every effort is made to build self esteem in the students through these years and the School Counsellor plays an active role in supporting them with their emotional issues. The high energy of these years is channelized on the sports field and in activities that keep them engaged. The Curriculum being student led and Inquiry based, the students are kept mentally challenged and energy is further harnessed and directed towards learning and growing.
In Grade 9 students start discovering their aptitude and inclination towards careers that interest them and they have a flair for through professional career Guidance that also helps them make correct subject choices in Secondary school.
Apart from numerous skills developed over these years, she is particularly effective at people management, administration and Public speaking.
Years of carefree abandon with a curriculum that promotes experiential learning; a curriculum that integrates Visual Arts, Music and Theatre and makes learning a never-ending joy. Inquiry and Explanation is at the core of all learning and the emphasis is on building competencies that will help them in the years to come. There is a great focus on Communication and self-expression .Special Days and Monthly Themes add to the quality of learning . Students present before their parents , regularly, on Form Days to showcase all that is happening in their classrooms. Outdoor lessons are encouraged in the green school campus and regular field trips are taken to reinforce learning. These are the Children’s Wonder Years, and DPSG gives the little ones enough room to think, wonder a, imagine and create.
It is headed by Ms. Ruby Malhan, an organized professional with proven teaching, guidance, and counselling skills, with over 31 years of experience in teaching. It has given her immense pleasure and an opportunity to grow and interact with diverse student population, helping them to engage in learning and achieving. Her eight years of experience at The Winchester School (United Kingdom) Dubai has given hera deep enthusiasm to think socially and act globally.
