SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS EXHIBITION

To explore the creative talent of the students and force them to think out of the box, DPSG organized ‘SCIMA’ a Science and Maths Exhibition on 10th August 2019. Through the exhibition, the students developed a scientific spirit and curiosity to force them to think and creatively find solutions to the challenges. Students enjoyed learning through the exhibition and developed a sense of achievement by showcasing intriguing models, activities, and games that beautifully revealed the notion that mathematics and science were the languages with which God has written this universe. Not only were the exhibits profoundly educative, but they were also simply fun to observe and learn from.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

The entire staff of DPSG Faridabad participated with great enthusiasm in the Blood Donation Camp organized by Lifeline Charitable Blood Bank. The parents visiting the school for the PTM also joined the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation and the event was a huge success that everyone was truly moved by the display of such selflessness by DPSG Faridabad’s faculty and parents.

TRIP TO LOHAGARH FARM

To allow our children to learn and appreciate the beauty of an authentic, ethnic village setup, DPSG Faridabad had a fun day out with the students of Classes IV to IX on 18th January 2020 to Lohagarh Farms. It was a day full of fun activities used in exploring the old rustic life that involved Pottery Making, Camel Ride, Bullock Ride, Tractor Ride, Team-Building Activities, Archery, Shooting, Tug of War, Mehndi, Mud-Bath and informative sessions to witness many rural activities such as dairy farming and traditional agricultural practices. All activities were carried under expert supervision by trained instructors using a complete safety harness. The trip was a memorable one, which the students will cherish for long.

WORKSHOP ON WATER CONSERVATION HELD ON 10th FEB.2020

To sensitize the students about the importance of saving water, LEAD India organized a workshop on water conservation for grades 3 to 7 at DPSG, Faridabad premises. The objective of the workshop was to make students aware of the dire need to save water and measures to overcome the wastage of water in their daily lives. It was an interactive session with the students where they were asked to reflect upon the usage of water and how we often wastewater carelessly.

The workshop started with an animated story by Sony YAY production which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. The students were motivated towards the sustainable use of water. The main objective of the workshop was to create an attitude towards water conservation, management, and development so that a behavioral change can be created amongst the children.

CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL

DPSG Faridabad celebrated their Christmas Carnival with a festive spirit at the school premises on the 21st Dec 2019. The school was magnificently decorated with warm reds and happy greens. Game stalls like “Hungry Santa”, “Snowball Toss”, “Balancing Lemons” and “Floating Balls” saw a throng of students and parents enjoying themselves. Apart from the games, there were other stalls also to entertain everyone, there was food and lots of it; there were swings for young kids, a tattoo stall for the tattoo lovers and mesmerizing dances, music, carols and band performance all wrapped up in a cultural show.

There was an amplified Christmas spirit and a sense of merriment throughout the programme which exhilarated, inspired and touched the hearts of parents and well wishers gathered together in the lawn. It was a wonderful sight to see the young students handling their stalls independently and the crowd enjoying the Christmas festivities to the fullest.

Santa’s entry made children enthusiastic and as he distributed goodies, the festive cheer rose further making the celebrations an unforgettable event for all the students.
