CLIMATE CHANGE- THE GREATEST THREAT TO THE LIVING WORLD

In simple terms, global climate change refers to the long-term alteration of temperature and typical weather patterns of an area. …

There are many causes for the global climate change but the foremost obvious cause is the human activities like burning of fossil fuels, indiscriminate use of natural resources etc.  The temperature of the world has increased by 1 degrees since the pre-industrial era and two-thirds of this rise has occurred since 1986. In recent past there has been a record increase with the release of greenhouse emission within the atmosphere. CO2 being a green house gas contributes in trapping extra heat and hence is  the root reason for warming. The excessive deforestation has resulted in increase in levels of greenhouse gases specifically carbon dioxide. Over 42 billion  of greenhouse pollution are dumped worldwide into the atmosphere per annum and also the amount is again increasing.

As said earlier amongst many causes of climate, human activities, like burning fossil fuels, like fossil fuel, oil, and coal are the most common ones Burning these materials releases what are called greenhouse gases into Earth’s atmosphere.

These climatic changes can severely hamper the function of our ecosystem and on the whole effect the ecology of a place. This has led to mass extinctions of both plants and animals. Climate extremes, like droughts, floods and extreme temperatures, can result in crop losses and threaten the livelihoods of agricultural producers and also the food security of communities worldwide. There has been an apparent increase within the population of pests, weeds and fungi as now they’re adapted to thrive well under warmer conditions .

In conclusion, if we actually want to avoid wasting our planet we should always participate and take a look at our utmost to prevent heating and other effects on temperature change. If the earth’s temperatures continue to rise within the future, living things on earth would become extinct because of the high temperatures. If humans contribute to manage heating, this world would be cooler and therefore the high temperatures we currently have would decrease. If everybody joined take stand and take a look at to finish most of the climate changes that are occurring, this world would be a safer place to measure on.
