During one to one interaction between teacher, student and parent SMART Goals are identified and action plan is worked out.

Students then fill in the SMART(Specific, Measurable, attainable, relevant and Time bound) Goals with action plan and timelines goals and action plan following which teachers and parents write their comments indicating their support for students in achieving the goals


A few designated subjects are being taught in CORE, ELECTIVE or ARTS mode. In each case, the sessions allotted shall vary. It may be highest in case of CORE and lesser in case of ELECTIVES or ARTS.

Pre-school to Class 5

  • Fixed study plan for students in pre-school to class 5 with four core and one Arts mode.

Middle & Secondary School - from class 6 to 10th

  • Learn all CORE subjects + additional subject in Elective Languages + one sub stream each in Visual, Performing and Vocational Arts.
  • Merit Classes only for Class 10 Students.

Senior Secondary School - 11th & 12th

  • CORE subjects in their chosen stream +Any two. - one each in Visual, Performing or Vocational Arts

Review Grade wise Student Progress

All Homeroom teachers and subject teachers meet together to review progress of each student in predefined manner and formats. Scholastic and co-scholastic plans and transactions of all students with special emphasis on those that need any kind of help is being reviewed, further actions are planned and shared the same with parents in the PTA’s.

A detailed Academic Plan design lays down the purpose, processes, transactions, observations, reflections, assessments and assessment dialogs as a guide to teachers and students so as the desired goals as defined in the student profile are achieved by every student in DPSG Schools.

Given the turn of events starting early 2020, blended learning is emerging to be the new school transactional norm. The final contours of blended learning still firming up. Assessment data can be obtained directly by examining and observing the work of a student to assess the achievement of learning outcomes.

Classroom based assessment has immense potential to enhance student learning. When assessment is designed with purpose in mind, learning for all students can holistically improve their growth and development.

Assessment is generally used interchangeably with test, but it is not confined to tests. Assessment in the broader sense focuses on the individual learner (student), the learning community (class, workshop, or other organized group of learners), a course, an academic program, an institution/ school, or the complete education system as a whole.

As a continuous process, assessment establishes student learning outcomes that are measurable and clear, creates provision for sufficient amount of learning opportunities to achieve these outcomes, implements a systematic way to gather, analyze and interpret evidence to determine how well the learning matches expectations, and utilizes the collected information constructively for improvement in student learning.


In the pursuit of academic success, children sometimes need a break from the classroom and an opportunity to release pent-up energy. While academic success is no small feat, students who participate in at least one extracurricular physical activity are proven to reap more benefits than those who do not exercise regularly.

Engaging in sports activities helps improve students focus on school work, as well as help them lead happier, healthier lives.

At DPSG Faridabad Physical Fitness is an integral part of the school curriculum as daily one hour is dedicated towards the physical fitness of the students through yoga, meditation and other sports activities. There are professional coaches who give specialized training in basketball, football, cricket.
