At DPSG FARIDABAD, Art have always been an integrated part of our curriculum. We weave the arts into our core classroom curricula as well as teach specific artistic skills and abilities.
Art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness. Visual arts teach learners about color, layout, perspective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in presentations (visual, digital) of academic work. Integrating art with other disciplines reaches students who might not otherwise be engaged in class work.
In the interest of the learner, all the media of creative arts are placed before them to facilitate selection of one form or a combination of art forms. These are 2D painting , Clay modelling ,Oil painting , Hand crafting , DIY crafts . A well equipped Arts Room beautifully decorated with students Art Work is set aside for instruction in the visual arts.
Students are encouraged to display their art and crafts through display board activities and exhibitions.
Various competitions like Card making, On the spot Painting, Mosaic painting are organized to boost the artistic skills among students.
PAINTING
It is aimed to develop aesthetic sense of the students through the understanding of various important well known aspects and modes of visual art. It also encompasses practical exercises in drawing and painting to develop their mental faculties of observation, imagination, creation and physical skills required for its expressions.
PHOTOGRAPHY
It is rightly said that a single picture can sometimes be much more eloquent than a thousand words. It has been one of the most celebrated forms of art. Photography teaches students to appreciate the environment and nature. Through photography, students are able to realize the beauty of even the simplest thing around such as a simple lead hanging in a still branch of an old tree or a butterfly enjoying its newly harvested nectar in a flower resting on a fertile land.
ARTS AND CRAFTS EXHIBITIONS
Vincent Van Gogh once said. ‘‘If you hear a voice within you saying you cannot paint, then by all means paint, and that voice will be silent.”

In DPSG Faridabad, our students have a colourful and enthusiastic environment for creating and expressing themselves. We have fully equipped art and crafts room which is decorated with beautiful wall paintings and colourful sitting arrangement.
