Books are Magical

Dr. Seuss said, the more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.

Books are magical, books are treasure of knowledge & information. When I read a book, they transport me to another world! A world of fantasy, creativity, magic, encouragement. I become a part of the characters given there. Reading books aid us expanding our imagination and enhancing our vocabulary, by introduce new words to us. The more we read the more we are able to frame meaningful sentences. Reading motivational books encourage us to empathize with other people, they inspire and boosts our confidence too. Stories about people like Laxmi Agarwal, famous personalities or martyrdom of our soldiers, make us believe that we can & we will do things successfully no matter how difficult the situations are.

When I feel sleepless, I read good story books with happy endings like ‘The Lost Temple’, ‘Panchtantra Stories’ etc. All of these make me feel relaxed and I am able to sleep calmly. At times when I read incidents in books, I am able to relate it with my real-life experiences. Recently I was reading a book named ‘Roller Girl’, which gave a beautiful message that practice always makes a man perfect. Recently I participated in a Yoga Championship, and this teaching from the book was again and again echoing in my mind. Hence, I practiced harder and finally secured a good position. Books can be our best friends. You can pick them up and start reading anytime whenever we feel sad or low. Books give us an encouraging, peaceful and an enjoyable experience of a lifetime.“Losing yourself in a book is the ultimate relaxation.”
