The Learning Continues……

“If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly free there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher.”- Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Who are our best teachers? I call them ‘MOM’ and ‘DAD’. Actually Life Long Learning companions…

Learning happens everyday. Every time a parent and a child are together important lessons are drafted, development unfolds. education plays a critical role at every stage in making a person world-ready. With their unconditional love that  they have, parents provide us with best of everything . The millennials of today are the most connected and diverse generation ever.  Millennials have brought more racial and ethnic diversity to  society. Yet I see the millennials today so intolerant and confused, what with their tattooes, online dating rituals and selfies, selfies, selfies. Each of these clichés and all their wondrous Jekyll-and-Hyde contradictions have forced the older me to think about few living mantras, not really a journal

This teacher’s day let’s take a look at few facts which go unnoticed, few questions that remain unanswered. The idea of celebrating the profession of teaching isn’t new, yet so challenging even more in the present times.

  • Why carry the past?

Memories….Nostalgia is seductive.. we love the fact to get trapped in our fond memories that we begin to relish its taste. Many a times we visit the past to enjoy the pain and pleasure again and then again.

Let us promise to move forward, plan the future and not repent the past.

  • Push thyself…..

Creating more time, space and energy to matters of interest generates enhanced results and also annoys less people.

  • Honesty is brutal

We all love to hear lies that please our ears at times. Who said lies are unacceptable! Being fooled a little here and there is the new happiness. Though everyone on the board might not be prepared to handle, but let us avoid brutality in the need of the hour . Spread cheers and smiles all around.

  • Trust Every1!!!!

Issues with trust, so common these days. I suggest let us stop expecting from everyone in reality. It might knock you down , leave you feeling lonely but it’s more about giving rather than getting.

  • Help as much as possible..

Why limit it to family, friends, neighbours and “ contacts”? In today’s social toxic world the life mantra is help anyone and everyone in the entire galaxy. A daunting task, can lead to judgements. Think reasonably and choose wisely.
