Aradhya Sharma, a 16-year-old student of grade 11, achieved an incredible milestone by completing the 3rd edition of the Ganga Sustainability Run in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand!
He completed the 21.1 km (Half Marathon) in a FinishTime of 2:38:08, alongside the serene yet challenging river Ganga, featuring rocky terrains and a high elevation gain of 870 meters – one of India's toughest marathons! He is the Youngest Runner to complete the marathon!
His determination, grit, and resilience are truly inspiring. He has shown us that age is no barrier when passion and hard work lead the way.
47th UP State Shooting Competition
A sharpshooter, Aahana Kumar won a bronze medal in 50- meter individual event and performed brilliantly in 25-meter sports pistol event in 47th UP State Shooting Competition hosted by the UP-State Rifle Association at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi. It's wonderful that Aahana Kumar is inspired by Manu Bhaker, Indian Olympic champion and aims to continue her legacy of incredible feat. With her current achievements and dedication, she's well on her way to accomplish a significant milestone in the world of shooting.

दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल गाज़ियाबाद, मेरठ रोड में दिनांक 14 सितम्बर, 2023 को हिंदी दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर एक अभिव्यक्तिपूर्ण कार्यक्रम ‘‘उद्गार’’ का आयोजन हुआ, जिसमें विभिन्न साहित्यकारों, अभिभावकों, अध्यापक व अध्यापिकाओं ने सार्थक प्रस्तुति दी ।
14 सितम्बर, 1949 को संविधान सभा के निर्णय के अनुसार, हिंदी केंद्र सरकार की आधिकारिक भाषा बनायी गयी. प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में हिंदी का प्रचार- प्रसार करने के लिए वर्ष 1953 से प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 सितम्बर को हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है ।

Tejas created Artificial Intelligence based glasses. These AI based glasses are designed to help the visually impaired to sense the world around them. His noble innovation won the hearts of the audience and judges alike. Tejas also won the first prize in the Judges’ Choice Question Segment. Tejas was lauded for displaying significant presence of mind, intelligence and leadership potential. The keynote speakers for the event were Mr Rahul Bose (Founder: The Foundation), Mr Anand Kumar (Founder: Super 30), Mr Sharad Vivek Sagar (Expert at KBC).

Exuberant DPSGites participated in ‘Malang: A Frolic Fusion’ – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA ’23) at O.P. Jindal Global University. During the three-day festival, students participated in a variety of cultural and literary competitions and brought laurels to the school.
Aahana Singh 9I won the first prize in ‘Last Man Standing’. Aahana competed against 200 participants from various schools and colleges under Rotary 3102. Aahana also got a gift voucher worth Rs 10,000 from Hover Robotix.

Suhani Shankdhar of X E and Kanan Saxena of X H received the Best Delegate Award in the Substance Addiction in Youth and LGBTQi category. The student delegates deliberated on sensitive issues like LGBTQi Community in present day, Substance Addiction in Youth, POCSO and Overcoming Bullying.Navya Dagar of 9J and Abhishta Gyanda of 10 I shared the Best Presentation award along with other delegates.
AI-based app IMAGE RECOGNIZER
Dhruv Agarwal of grade XII raised the bar for Innovative Design Thinkers by creating a revolutionary AI-based app IMAGE RECOGNIZER which is built to identify the objects in front of the person by just clicking its picture. The code of the app is built in a way that it neither takes any personal data from the user nor plants any. Through the Image Recognizer, he aims to provide a solution to the declining privacy quotient. The app has been approved for the Amazon App store. The school provided him ample opportunities, support and guidance in fulfilling his dream.

This 44th Uttar Pradesh State Shooting Championship 2021 was organised in Lucknow. Arnav was felicitated in Gram Sihani by state level shooters. Arjun is scheduled to participate in Pre National Shooting Championship which is being hosted in Gujarat.

NCC CADETS ATTEND B-CERTIFICATE CAMP
A group of 15 cadets from DPSG MR participated in the 129th Annual NCC B-certificate camp organised by 13 UP Girls Battalion in GDM PG College, Modinagar under the guidance of ANO Lt. Archana Awasthi.
The cadets participated in a plethora of adventurous activities such as drills, weapon training, field craft and battlecraft sessions. Various cultural and sports activities were also organized. The NDRF team taught the students about evacuation drills and techniques that could help save more lives in case of any natural calamity. Camp Commandant Cl. Deep Chand briefed the cadets about future prospects of NCC.
Team DPSG made the school proud by winning prizes in several events. They secured second position in basketball and group dance whereas Cdt. Vanya Choudhary and Cdt. Prakriti Chaudhary bagged first prize in badminton singles and solo dance respectively. Cdt. Shreya Tiwari was awarded a silver medal in solo singing.
The 5-day camp introduced the young cadets to a `regimental way of life’ which helped in developing camaraderie, teamwork, leadership qualities, self-confidence, self-reliance and dignity of labour in the cadets.
Principal Sangeeta Mukherjee Roy congratulated the cadets for their extraordinary performance and remarkable achievements.

Dhruv Singhal of class 12 H bagged the first position in the event, Envision – Debate.

INTERZOID 2021’ held on 31 July 2021, at DPSGV offered a plethora of events for the students to hone their skills through a variety of engagements. Our little ‘Samaira Dhawan and Deepagam Singh Rehnu of class IV participated and bagged a 3rd position in the event ‘Radio Show’ outlined with the theme of ‘Health and Fitness’.
Saisha Roy of class V won a 3rd position in ‘ Mega Quiz’ after smoothly sailing through the first and the semi-final rounds.

LITTLE ACHIEVER
Darsh Agarwal of DPSG Meerut Road of Grade-1A has achieved the "International book of record" award for the Fastest spelling of 100 English words of 2-10 letters strength. He smashed the previous record which was of 2mins 53 seconds. Darsh achieved it in 2min 20 sec and made us proud.

DISTRICT INTERACT LEADERSHIP AWARDS : ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT-3012
ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT - 3012 has been working consistently in doing welfare work for the society. For recognizing their vigorous endeavours , 41 Interact Clubs from the schools of Delhi NCR were nominated for Annual District Interact Recognition.
It gives us immense pleasure to announce that ‘The Interact Club of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road’ was presented with the DIAMOND CLUB Award by the Rotary Club in the District Interact Leadership Awards (DILA) virtual ceremony held on June 29, 2021, for their exceptional community service and keeping the spirits high, in the wake of the pandemic. This would not have been conceivable without the steady help and direction of the Educator- in- charge, Ms. Ruchi Kansal, ZIR Kashika Singh (Zone 2), the Rotary Club President Roli Gupta.
Lenovo SmarterEd Scholarship Programme
To ensure that learning continues unhampered during the COVID 19 lockdown, schools across the country have pivoted to online mode of education. Providing a forum to the future change makers, Lenovo SmarterEd Scholarship, an initiative by Hindustan Times, invited applications from young minds to share their opinion about the current online learning system.
It is a matter of immense pride that Agrima Srivastava, Class VI, of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road is among the top 100 students to win the coveted scholarship. This prestigious competition saw participation from 61270 students from 1375 schools from across the nation.

CBSE Awards for Teachers - 2019
The prestigious ceremony for CBSE Awards for Teachers-2019 was held in Delhi. HRD Minister Mr.Ramesh Pokhriyal inaugurated CBSE Academic Calendar that were composed by the Board with the help of school teachers and Vidya Daan, a digital platform for learning with Diksha App.
Diksha App is the newest initiative by CBSE to help the senior students receive content under a single roof. Here's a glimpse of the DPSG team, one of the major contributors for the DIKSHA APP receiving award from Union Minister of HRD for the exceptional work done in education.

Learn at Home with Adobe
Nimay Malhotra, a student of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad studying in class VI participated in a summer program launched by Adobe – 'Learn at home with Adobe'. It was designed to foster creativity in young children through digital medium. As a part of the program he learnt content creation on spark post, worked on spark page that encouraged creativity and collaboration, created assignments on spark video which helped in communication and critical thinking. Finally, he also got an opportunity to work on projects for hands-on learning.
A special workshop with Gaurav Juyal, popular host from Disney’s Art Attack was also organized as part of the program and Nimay learnt to create a motion comic, an art of storytelling. Nimay is now a fan of Adobe and he is thankful to Adobe for this unique opportunity.
