Interact Club
The Interact Club of DPSG Meerut Road bagged the Diamond Club award at Aabhar- District Interact Thanksgiving Ceremony of Rotary Club District 3012, conducted at Amity University, Noida. This Thanksgiving programme, which was organised for the first time, also felicitated the students and teachers involved in rotary club activities in the district. The award was given to the school for helping Rotary serve to change lives of people.

Solo Song Competition, ‘Suro Ke Sartaz’
Srestha Panigrahi, a class IX student of DPSG, participated in the District Level Solo Song Competition, ‘Suro Ke Sartaz’ wherein she bagged the third prize. The event was organized by Ultimate Dance Academy on 15th May, 2022. The rising star’s stupendous achievement is a testimony to her dedication and assiduity. May she keep moving ahead with this commendable high spirit!

12 year old Ojas Goel, a class VIII student of DPSG, displayed exemplary skills in memorizing all the verses (700 shlokas) of Geeta. The young prodigy was felicitated by Mr. Nitish Bhardwaj ji (Lord Krishna of the serial Mahabharata fame) in a programme organised by Janjati Kalyan Ashram in Nepal on 7th May 2022.

Budding Innovators of DPSG shine at ION 2022

The students of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad brought laurels to the school by bagging prizes in multiple competitions at ION 2022, the annual inter-school techno-event of Indraprastha International School, organized on May 6, 2022.
The competition witnessed participation of over 1000 participants from more than 60 schools pan India. The event spanned across a wide variety of domains in the field of technology, namely, Website Designing, App Designing, Programming, Audio/ Video Editing, Game Development, to name a few. The event aimed at fostering a spirit of innovation and curiosity among students. It also provided them a platform to share and showcase their technological acumen apart from instilling in them a healthy competitive spirit. The theme of the event this year was ‘Technophile’.

District Basketball Championship 2022
Sports play a pivotal role in building courage, confidence and honing the life skills in addition to enhancing critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, effective communication and team building. At DPSG, sports are an integral part of school curriculum and students are encouraged in their pursuit of sporting excellence.
Armed with the spirit of commitment and perseverance, Delhi Public School Ghaziabad U-14(Boys and Girls) teams made their school proud by bagging the Runners up trophy in their respective categories in the District Basketball Championship 2022 held at New Era School from 6 – 8 May, 2022.

Aarna Srivastava of grade V-C made her motherland proud by bagging the coveted first position in the CHILDREN’S INTERNATIONAL ARTWORK CONTEST, an online competition organized by NASA’S Commercial Crew Program 2022. Children aged 4 to 12 years, shared their space artwork. More than 700 pieces of art were submitted and a total of 45 entrants were selected as winners from 33 countries participated in this competition. The winning artwork is used to create a calendar with different space-related themes for each month with an aim to educate students about the International Space Station, astronauts, growing food in space and more! Unique and original artwork is selected for each month. Her accomplishment is worthy of appreciation. May this herald a bright future for Aarna.

Congratulations to our young Innovator and Entrepreneur!
Shivansh Kulshrestha, class 6-I, brought accolades to the school by featuring in the top 20 from over 9000 participants in the prestigious ATL Tinkerpreneur 2021, an exciting programme designed by Niti Aayog. Shivansh, under the able guidance and support of his Mentor Ms Anita Kachroo, participated in 9 weeks long bootcamp to create an incredible business venture and completed the Atal Catalyst Program with Indian School of Business, Hyderabad as well.

U-19 Cestoball National Championship (Girls’ category)
Kirti Mittal, IXE made DPSG proud by representing Uttar Pradesh and bagging the first position in U-19 Cestoball National Championship (Girls’ category) held in March 2022 in Punjab. The rising star’s stupendous achievement is a testimony to her dedication and assiduity.

Junior Hackathon’: A Theme Based Project Competition organised by Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology
Ishan Sharma and Rudra Kaushik of class11 bagged a trophy and a Certificate of Appreciation in the event `Junior Hackathon’: A Theme Based Project Competition organised by Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology to promote innovative ideas among students and demonstrate their skills through a working model on any critical problem of the society. Team DPSG presented a working model on “Li-Fi, a wireless communication technology” and was one of the top 5 teams shortlisted from 150 participating schools. They got special mention for their unique idea in the field of “Artificial Intelligence”.

Jigyasa Vigyan Mahotsav’ organized by ‘Council of Scientific and Industrial Research
Riddaq Kaur of grade 11 secured second position in ‘Jigyasa Vigyan Mahotsav’ organized by ‘Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.’ In the competition with 4.5 lakh entries, she made it to the top and was awarded a cash prize of 20,000 INR in the ‘Infographics’ category. The infographic is based on Agro-technology which aims to spread awareness about the existing technologies in agriculture, their advantages and disadvantages.

Inventing our own Number System
Through the ages people have invented many different ways to name, write, and compute with numbers. Our current number system is based on place values corresponding to powers of ten. The PYP learners of grade 5 have developed their own number systems. In a student led inquiry on larger numbers they invented the number systems with different bases. The learners showcased exemplary level of the mathematical proficiency. They not only exhibited their conceptual understanding and procedural fluency but strategic planning to a great extent too.
Siddharth Singh and Avika Dua of Grade 5C have developed a “Special characters” number system with a base 6 where they have used all the special characters. Kartik Singh of Grade 5K has developed a “Square Dot “number system with base 5. Sanvi Garg of 5E is also working on her number system with base 6. They will be implementing and checking the feasibility of their number systems in the inquiry on basic operations soon. The counting, expanded notation and the place value chart of their number system are bound to take us to a world of creative and critical thinking.

Hindi Olympiad

It is a matter of immense pride that Sahej Kaur, class VI of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road bagged a silver medal in the Hindi Olympiad. This is for the second time that she has been awarded with the silver medal. Now her goal is to get the gold medal in the second level for which she is preparing with full dedication and sincerity.

Immerse Essay Contest

Vani Miglani beat students from all over the world to win the Immerse Essay Contest. The judges commended her essay on being one of the highest calibre entries in record-breaking essays received this year. She has also been awarded a scholarship to study in the Immerse Summer Academic Programs led by tutors from world-class universities including Oxford and Cambridge.

Two students from Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road have qualified District Level Round under the INSPIRE Award Scheme by Government of India Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology for the Year 2021-22. They have won the cash price of Rs.10000/- each for their inspiring and innovative ideas.

(INSPIRE) 'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

The INSPIRE Awards - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in classes 6 to 10. Arjun Tyagi, a student of 6B has made us proud by qualifying in under 11 Pre National Championship for 10M Air pistol shooting.

This 44th Uttar Pradesh State Shooting Championship 2021 was organised in Lucknow. Arnav was felicitated in Gram Sihani by state level shooters. Arjun is scheduled to participate in Pre National Shooting Championship which is being hosted in Gujarat.

Indian Civil Services Examination 2020


A group of 15 cadets from DPSG MR participated in the 129th Annual NCC B-certificate camp organised by 13 UP Girls Battalion in GDM PG College, Modinagar under the guidance of ANO Lt. Archana Awasthi.

The cadets participated in a plethora of adventurous activities such as drills, weapon training, field craft and battlecraft sessions. Various cultural and sports activities were also organized. The NDRF team taught the students about evacuation drills and techniques that could help save more lives in case of any natural calamity. Camp Commandant Cl. Deep Chand briefed the cadets about future prospects of NCC.

Team DPSG made the school proud by winning prizes in several events. They secured second position in basketball and group dance whereas Cdt. Vanya Choudhary and Cdt. Prakriti Chaudhary bagged first prize in badminton singles and solo dance respectively. Cdt. Shreya Tiwari was awarded a silver medal in solo singing.

The 5-day camp introduced the young cadets to a `regimental way of life’ which helped in developing camaraderie, teamwork, leadership qualities, self-confidence, self-reliance and dignity of labour in the cadets.

Dhruv Singhal of class 12 H bagged the first position in the event, Envision – Debate.

Apeejay Festival of Ideas by Ignited Minds

The students of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad participated in season 3 of ‘Apeejay Festival of Ideas by Ignited Minds’ on the theme – ‘Climate Change’ organized by Apeejay Institute of Technology – School of Architecture & Planning.

The students enthusiastically participated in various competitions and brought laurels to the school.

  • Riddaq Kaur of XI B2 participated in essay writing contest on the topic ‘Human Behaviour and its Impact on Climate Change’. She impressed the judges with her thought provoking insightful points and secured second position. She was awarded with a certificate and a cash prize of Rupees 1000.
  • A team of three students - Tanujay Yadav, Manushi Mishra and Yashvi Singh of Grade 12 participated in ‘Climovation-techno’- Creative Designing A Prototype Product’ and the team was adjudged second in the group. The designing of ‘SarvottamApp’ in the category ‘Farmfresh’ by the students was lauded for innovative ideas to support the farmers as well as the customers accessibility to fresh food. Their innovative ideas were rewarded with certificates and a cash prize of Rupees 1000 for the team.
  • Sanya Goel, XI IB, a climate sensitive photographer participated in CLIMOLENS (PHOTOGRAPHY) and proved her mettle by securing second position. Her keen eye captured the harmful impacts of construction on environment and labourers. She won accolades and was presented a certificate and cash prize of Rupees 1000.

Visit Of Additional Director General, NCC Directorate

Major General Rakesh Rana, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate graced Delhi Public School Ghaziabad with his presence on 7th August, 2021 to inspect NCC training provided in all the battalions of Ghaziabad . Group Commander Brigadier Nilesh Bhanot and commanding officers of Ghaziabad Battalions accompanied him to examine the functioning of the battalions. ADG was impressed by the rigorous and consistent training provided to NCC cadets. He reiterated the need to increase participation of school children in NCC activities to uphold the unity of India by undertaking programmes related to community service with truly selfless spirit.
Lieutenant Archana Awasthi was conferred with a memento for her commendable performance in PRCN Course. Her excellent performance in Planning and Organising Institutional Training and NIAP during PRCN Course-No-PRCN/SW/107 conducted at OTA Gwalior from 8th February to 8th May 2021 was appreciated by the NCC Officers.
She has taken the reigns of NCC Girls Wing at DPSG with an aim to develop character, comradeship, discipline and build a secular outlook to serve the society in the present socio economic scenario.

DPSG Faridabad organized an ‘Interschool Patriotic Poem Recitation Competition’ on August 13,2021. The participants expressed their love for “INDIA” with full fervour and gusto. This competition served a platform not only to develop oratory skills but to delve into the past and learn and respect the great sacrifice and contribution of innumerable Indian heroes. The rendition of Aastha Patra was indeed mesmerizing.

Keeping the flame of curiosity and wonderment alive, DPSG strives to drive the passion of exploration and imagination in all its learners. Hence, the school provided yet another platform, ‘Curiosity Writing Awards’ to the students, to showcase their ingenuity in story telling. Students from 162 schools across 57 cities and towns of India participated in this competition. We are proud to share that Veer Sehrawat of Grade VIII secured third position in this nation wide competition.His story will feature on the website (https://www.penandinkpublishers.com) and will be published in Anthology, an annual publication of Curiosity Kids Magazine available for access at Amazon both in paperback and kindle version.

Ad Making competition

Raina Jain of class VIII C brought laurels for the school by bagging second position in the Ad Making competition in ‘Sampravah’, the inter-school annual fest of Lovely Public Senior Secondary School on August 4, 2021. It was a great learning experience for her. She performed the ad live wherein she advertised organic farming and encouraged people to buy organic products and made people aware of its benefits. The USP of her performance were her attractive props and jingles.
She was awarded an e-certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 500.

INTERZOID 2021’ held on 31 July 2021, at DPSGV offered a plethora of events for the students to hone their skills through a variety of engagements. Our little ‘Samaira Dhawan and Deepagam Singh Rehnu of class IV participated and bagged a 3rd position in the event ‘Radio Show’ outlined with the theme of ‘Health and Fitness’.

Saisha Roy of class V won a 3rd position in ‘ Mega Quiz’ after smoothly sailing through the first and the semi-final rounds.

Vibhor Agarwal, our class XII student has made us all proud by clearing the prestigious NTSE National level Examination 2021. He has bagged a globally recognized certificate of merit and a talent scholarship for pursuing his education upto his pre-PHD level. Undoubtedly, he has emerged unruffled in face of all challenges, outshining every expectation and pushing all boundaries in the pursuit of excellence. His achievement is a testimony to the effective guidance and mentorship given in school where children are encouraged to bloom and develop to their potential.

It is indeed a matter of great pride and honour for all of us that Harshika Singh, our alumnus batch 2012-13 has made the entire DPSG family proud by clinching the 15th Rank in UPPCS 2020. Her unprecedented success is a milestone in itself and has set new standards. It is with pride that we hold and cherish these high standards that have been the legacy of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad students. Darsh Agarwal of DPSG Meerut Road of Grade-1A has achieved the "International book of record" award for the Fastest spelling of 100 English words of 2-10 letters strength. He smashed the previous record which was of 2mins 53 seconds. Darsh achieved it in 2min 20 sec and made us proud.


Vani Miglani, class 10, brought laurels to the school by bagging an ‘Honorable Mention’ in the New York Times Vocabulary Video Challenge Contest. The New York Times, an internationally acclaimed daily with a worldwide readership, organized this prestigious competition, which saw participation from more than 1500 students worldwide. The competition required to innovatively define a word in a 15 second video, which would effectively educate, and delight at the same time. Vani participated whole-heartedly in this international competition and showcased her dynamic personality and intellect. She rose to the challenge of doing it solo and bagged an honorable mention award. Passing through multiple rounds of judgement, Vani’s Video was recognized by name on the Learning Network! With high spirits, she strives to keep moving ahead.

ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT - 3012 has been working consistently in doing welfare work for the society. For recognizing their vigorous endeavours , 41 Interact Clubs from the schools of Delhi NCR were nominated for Annual District Interact Recognition.

Lenovo SmarterEd Scholarship Programme

To ensure that learning continues unhampered during the COVID 19 lockdown, schools across the country have pivoted to online mode of education. Providing a forum to the future change makers, Lenovo SmarterEd Scholarship, an initiative by Hindustan Times, invited applications from young minds to share their opinion about the current online learning system.

It is a matter of immense pride that Agrima Srivastava, Class VI, of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road is among the top 100 students to win the coveted scholarship. This prestigious competition saw participation from 61270 students from 1375 schools from across the nation.

CBSE Awards for Teachers - 2019

The prestigious ceremony for CBSE Awards for Teachers-2019 was held in Delhi. HRD Minister Mr.Ramesh Pokhriyal inaugurated CBSE Academic Calendar that were composed by the Board with the help of school teachers and Vidya Daan, a digital platform for learning with Diksha App.

Diksha App is the newest initiative by CBSE to help the senior students receive content under a single roof. Here's a glimpse of the DPSG team, one of the major contributors for the DIKSHA APP receiving award from Union Minister of HRD for the exceptional work done in education.

ATL MARATHON Competition
ATL students of DPSG once again made their alma mater proud by selecting in ATL MARATHON competition. ATL Marathon is a e-idea based competition in which the students had to submit some ideas on the topics of

National Level Essay Writing Competition organised by P.N. Panicker Foundation

To honour the memory of the Late P.N. Panicker, CBSE directed the schools to celebrate the 25th National Reading Day, Week, and Month.
In the light of COVID-19 pandemic, the P.N. Panicker Foundation initiated and designed different online reading-related activities for the students as per CBSE guidelines.
The students of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road, enthusiastically participated in a number of activities that included Reading Pledge, Open Art, Quiz and Essay Writing competitions. Akansh Choudhary of class Xll-B, won bronze award in International Eduversal Mathematics Competition conducted by Eduversal, an Indonesian Organisation wherein participants from 36 countries across the globe competed.
Akansh Choudhary also secured second position in Spotle Storython 2020 – A National level story Writing and story telling competition.
Further , Akansh Choudhary, appeared for College Board’s Advanced Placement Chemistry Exam and secured a credit score of 4 out of 5.

Learn at Home with Adobe

Nimay Malhotra, a student of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad studying in class VI participated in a summer program launched by Adobe – 'Learn at home with Adobe'. It was designed to foster creativity in young children through digital medium. As a part of the program he learnt content creation on spark post, worked on spark page that encouraged creativity and collaboration, created assignments on spark video which helped in communication and critical thinking. Finally, he also got an opportunity to work on projects for hands-on learning.

A special workshop with Gaurav Juyal, popular host from Disney’s Art Attack was also organized as part of the program and Nimay learnt to create a motion comic, an art of storytelling. Nimay is now a fan of Adobe and he is thankful to Adobe for this unique opportunity.

Nemo’s World - Solo role play
Evelyn Alex students of class 1 E, won the 2nd position in the inter school competition ( Nemo’s world – Solo role play ) held at DPSG INTERNATIONAL. The theme was about ‘ A solution to the extinction’. Evelyn dressed up as a sea horse and spoke about water pollution and the reason why sea horse are getting extinct. She also emphasized to stop the water pollution and save the aquatic life.

Kiaan Yadav of class I A participated in Inter School Competition -Attire to Inspire (Fancy dress competition) showcasing Importance of Newspaper depiction through costume and a small skit, enforcing the message - Newspaper is a treasure house of information of events happening around the world and increases its wealth everyday before coming to our doorsteps. Newspaper enhances vocabulary, reading skills, builds knowledge and helps to become a good orator. Students who learn using newspaper become more active citizens as adults.
