These are uncertain times lot of unanswered questions come in the mind of students and parents alike. There is a lot of fear and anxiety about this new disease and what could happen can be overwhelming and it can give rise to lot of strong and unexplained emotions in adults and children. Social isolation during the pandemic is also one of the contributing factors of stress and anxiety. Moderate levels Stress and Anxiety is normal during these times, as this will force us all to take all precautionary measures required like sanitization and washing of hands. However, we have to learn to differentiate between Productive and unproductive Anxiety thinking continuously about the disease will only increase our stress levels and will make us Panic During this time.

Connect with Family and Friends. – A strong support system of family and friends goes a long way in dealing with any stress full situation, sharing your concerns serves as a Cathartic process and helps in venting out of emotions. If distress impacts activities of your daily life for several days or weeks, talk to a counselor, or doctor
Unwind -Taking Breaks and engaging in fun and creative activities soothes the nervous system and gives the much-needed energy.
Stay informed-Continuously checking updates about the pandemic creates a lot of stress. Understanding the reality behind the rumors is required so that a constant state of fear is avoided. Critical analysis of both print and visual media is required from the audience
