IB CREATIVITY , ACTIVITY AND SERVICE
Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is one of the core requirements for the IB Diploma Programme that is both challenging and enjoyable and takes the learner on a personal journey of self-discovery. It allows the learners to forge meaningful bonds with other learners through experiences that are profound and life changing.
CAS is organized around the three strands of creativity, activity, and service:
- Creativity: Music, theatre, film, design technology, visual arts, dance, and fashion under creativity.
- Activity: Taking up a new sport or extending your ability (for example, with football, yoga, dance, aerobics classes, biking or hiking) counts as an activity.
- Service: A collaborative and empathetic engagement with the community in response to a genuine need like donation drives, plantation drives, etc.
