Inspire Award

Two students from Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road have qualified District Level Round under the INSPIRE Award Scheme by Government of India Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology for the Year 2021-22. They have won the cash price of Rs.10000/- each for their inspiring and innovative ideas. 

(INSPIRE) 'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. 

The INSPIRE Awards - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in classes 6 to 10. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.

Akshat Tripathi of Class 10-I for his Project ‘Cloud Based IoT enabled Waste Collection alerting System for Smart Cities of India’ to overcome the problem associated with wastage collection.
He’s also been selected for State Level Inspire award 2020-21 for his Project on ‘Drowsiness Detection Device for Vehicle Drivers’ to prevent car accidents due to drowsiness.

Shivansh Kulshrestha of class 6-I for his Project ‘Mister Cleaner’ which is helpful for cleaning the house in the absence of the occupants.
