Visit to National Science Centre
Students of class VIII visited the National Science Centre for attending the workshop on ‘Line Follower Robot on November 18, 2019. They worked on LEGO kits and made a line following robot by using light sensor and RGB sensor.
It was a wonderful learning experience for students.
Students of Class VII attended a workshop on ‘Hand Generator and Castor Boat’ at National Science Centre, New Delhi. The session was based on ‘Hand Generator and Castor Boat’. Students thoroughly enjoyed the session and worked enthusiastically on LEGO kits and made a castor boat. The session was held on November 19, 2019.

Delhi Public School Ghaziabad organized an excursion to Jodhpur and Osian Desert, Rajasthan from 7 September, 2019 to 10 September, 2019 for the students of classes VII and VIII. It was a welcome break and an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate after the half yearly examinations. They visited a lot of historic monuments like Umaid Bhavan, Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. The students also enjoyed a fun filled evening at the Osian desert where they experienced camel ride and desert safari along with bonfire, folk dance and music and traditional Rajasthani dinner. The highlight of the trip was the visit to the Marble Dumping Yard in Kishangarh. Its white landscape gave the impression as if they were amidst snow capped mountains.
Students of classes IX, X visited Ranthambore National Park. They thoroughly enjoyed the jeep safari there. They also visited the Ranthambore Fort. The students spent a memorable time during the trip and brought back a lot of memories which they will cherish throughout their lives.
National Science Centre Visit
DPSG organized an educational excursion to National Science Centre, Delhi on March 30, 2019 for the students of class VII with the aim to enhance their critical thinking skills and scientific temperament. The students thoroughly enjoyed watching and working with the different exhibits showcased in the spacious galleries based on the principles of physics, chemistry and biology. The visit helped the students to generate a new interest and zeal for science indeed.
TRIP TO JAIPUR AND UDAIPUR

Delhi Public School Ghaziabad organized an excursion to Jaipur and Udaipur, Rajasthan from 20 February, 2019 to 23 February, 2019 for the students of classes VII and VIII who were accompanied by eleven teachers. The purpose of the trip was to bring the children closer to their roots, break the monotony of everyday life and to imbibe life skills in them. They thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque landscapes, visit to City Palaces in Jaipur and Udaipur, puppet shows and folk dances along with scrumptious food. The highlight of the trip was the visit to Block Printing factory in Sanganer where the students tried their hands on block printing. The kids had a fun filled time and made memories to be cherished forever.
Learning takes place through various means and ways wherein excursions play a pivotal role in building courage, confidence and honing the life skills (thinking, social, emotional) in addition to enhancing critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, communication and team building.
Keeping these advantages in mind the school organised a 3 nights and 4 days trip to Jodhpur and Osian Desert Camp for students of class IX. The trip included visit to Arna Jharna (Desert museum), Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada, Osian Desert camp, camel safari, bonfire, folk dance etc. The accommodation was planned in Raddison, Jodhpur.
Students enjoyed thoroughly in the company of their friends and made memories for a lifetime.
