Parent Teacher Conference (PTC)
The latest Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) on October 5, 2024, at our school was a was a well-organized and engaging event, designed to celebrate achievements and foster community spirit. The day began with a heartfelt welcome by the Principal, Ms. Amita Bajpai, who highlighted the importance of parental involvement in education. This was followed by a short cultural program where students displayed their talents through a joyful dance, a melodious bhajan and a power-packed nukkad natak. A special highlight was the award ceremony, where certificates and awards were presented to students who had excelled in academics and extracurricular activities in the term. Parents then enjoyed high tea, allowing for informal interactions with teachers. A blood donation camp was also organized, encouraging parents and staff to contribute to the noble cause. The event concluded with the sharing of mid-term report cards, allowing parents to discuss their child’s academic progress with teachers.
DPSG International Celebrated Grandparents Day & Janmashtami
DPSG International celebrated a heart-warming Grandparents Day, blending it with Janmashtami festivities to honour the common threads that bind us together. The little ones welcomed the grandparents with a melodious song composed especially for them. They presented a delightful Radha Krishna dance and a heartfelt skit that beautifully conveyed how the love and guidance of grandparents are irreplaceable, emphasizing that without them, the family is not truly complete. The event culminated with fun games that the grandparents joyfully joined in and lovely photo sessions for lasting memories.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Amita Bajpai shared that staying connected to our roots, embracing family values, and strengthening bonds with our grandparents fosters a deep cultural connection, a sense of our past and hope for our future.
Unveiling the Future with Microsoft
Students of DPSG International stepped into the future at the Microsoft office in Gurugram. The workshop was an eye-opener, showcasing the power of AI and its potential to revolutionize our world. From understanding the nuances of accessibility to exploring the capabilities of AI Copilot, our students were immersed in a world of endless possibilities. The key takeaways from the session included the power of AI in productivity, ethical tech use, and Microsoft's vision for a more inclusive world. A big thank you to DPSG-CCUP and Microsoft for this inspiring experience!
Celebration of 78th Independence Day

Independence Day at our school was a day filled with patriotism and joy. The celebrations began with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by our Principal Ms. Amita Bajpai, whose stirring address reminded us of the sacrifices made by famous freedom fighters and several unsung heroes. This was followed by a vibrant cultural program where students showcased their talents through a skit depicting freedom from social issues such as poverty, traditional dance, and melodious patriotic songs. The atmosphere was electric, with both the school staff and parents joining the festivities. A friendly cricket match between teachers, parents and students added a dash of excitement, with cheers echoing across the field. The day concluded with kite flying, symbolizing the spirit of freedom, and the distribution of sweets, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. The involvement of parents in the celebrations added to the warmth and camaraderie, making the 78th Independence Day at DPSGI truly memorable.
Culmination of Social Science Week
What an incredible week it has been! The culmination of Social Science Week saw a spectacular array of activities and displays. From the vibrant culture boxes to the whimsical charm of cartoons, caricatures, and posters, every corner was alive with creativity and learning.
A thought-provoking Guest Lecture on Environmental Awareness and Sustainability followed by the Declamation Competition featuring powerful speeches from world leaders captivated and motivated our audience.
Intra MUN Conference
A part of the Social Science Week, the two-day Intra-School Model United Nations Conference was a resounding success, marked by enthusiastic participation from students across Grades VI to XII.
Two committees were simulated at the conference—UNODC and IPC. This year saw a remarkable response from first timers-- new participants eager to discuss global issues and diplomacy. The sessions were highly interactive, with students actively engaging in debates, negotiations and drafting resolutions.
Overall, the event created a dynamic environment charged with an eagerness to learn and excel.
Celebration of Social Science Week 2024 - 25
Come August, and patriotism is in the air! Day 1 of the Social Science Week had a fantastic start with the students engaged in vibrant activities like enacting the heroes of the Indian Freedom Struggle, Caricature Making of Indian political leaders, Cartoon and Comic Strip Making on the features of Democracy, and a lively Debate on the topic 'Social Media has Improved Human Communication.' These activities highlighted our understanding of social issues in fun and innovative ways! Here’s to a week of exploration and learning in the world of Social Science!
Industry Visit
The students of DPSG International recently visited Summer Cool Home Appliances, diving deep into the world of manufacturing and production. They explored every facet of creating home essentials like TVs, coolers, fans, and geysers, from meticulous planning to cutting-edge design. Chairperson Mr. Sanjeev Gupta warmly welcomed the students and shared insights, inspiring them to embrace research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The visit provided a comprehensive view of the industry. Our students came back with new-found knowledge and a passion for making a difference in the world of technology and appliances.
DPSG International conducted an online Orientation Session on Saturday, 6 July to introduce Parents to the new Learning Management System (LMS), Schoology. The primary purpose of this session was to guide parents on how to sign in and utilize the platform effectively, ensuring they can support their children's educational journey.
The introduction of Schoology at DPSG International aims to enhance the teaching-learning process by providing a centralized, user-friendly platform for managing course materials, assignments, and communication. By integrating this advanced LMS, the school seeks to foster a more interactive and engaging learning environment for students.
During the session, parents were shown the step-by-step process of logging into Schoology and navigating its various features. Emphasis was placed on the numerous benefits Schoology offers for parents, such as real-time access to their child's grades and assignments, enhanced communication with teachers, and the ability to track academic progress through detailed analytics and reports.
Additionally, parents were informed about the convenience of receiving notifications and updates about upcoming tests, assignment due dates, and school events, all of which contribute to a more connected and supportive educational experience.
Most parents joined the session and the session was successful in demonstrating how Schoology can bridge the gap between home and school, empowering parents to take an active role in their child's education and promoting a collaborative approach to learning.
DPSG International celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm
Esteemed instructor Mr. Raj Kumar led a rejuvenating session attended by students, parents, staff, and community members. This event supported SDG-3 by promoting physical and mental health, demonstrating the schools commitment to fostering a healthy, mindful community. The celebration underscored the school's dedication to well-being, encouraging long-term health practices among participants and creating a thriving educational environment.
PLDP
As part of the professional development and empowerment of DPSG International staff, a series of enriching sessions were organized on 4 July 2024.
The first session on Pranayam, Yoga, and Meditation was well-executed and captivated the faculty. The resource person highlighted the benefits of these practices for physical and mental health and stress management.
The second session, led by Mr. Senthil Kumar from Bennett University, focused on NEP 2020. With over 24 years of experience, Mr. Senthil detailed the policy's vision, implementation, and impact on education, engaging faculty with his comprehensive presentation and insightful answers to their questions.
The third session provided hands-on training for the new Learning Management System (LMS), allowing teachers to complete tasks and clarify doubts.
The day concluded with new learnings and a reinforcement of the importance of lifelong learning for personal and professional growth.
In the ongoing PLDP at the DPSG International, the third day began with a rejuvenating yoga session, promoting mindfulness and focus for the participants. This was followed by an extraordinary session on Learner Profiles taken by the school’s dynamic Principal Ms Amita Bajpai which served to equip the educators with strategies to understand and cater to individual student needs. The afternoon wrapped up with a deep dive into Learning Management Systems (LMS), providing practical tools to enhance curriculum delivery and track student progress. The comprehensive PLDP session provided valuable insights and practical tools for effective leadership in today's diverse learning environment.
Learning and Empowerment- a way of life in DPSG International!
Day 2 of the PLDP sessions began with yoga, pranayama, and meditation session in the morning to rejuvenate the entire staff. A vibrant and interactive session by resource persons from Indian Institute of Art and Design brought to the fore how each teacher is an empowered leader, excelling in his/her practices in the field of education. The comprehensive discussion on traits of a leader in the 21 century reiterated how the role of a teacher is constantly evolving . The day ended with a hands-on training for the new ERP - LMS that has been undertaken by the school.
The day ended with a deep founded satisfaction for the faculty who felt that they are working meaningfully to realise the vision of the institution.
The first day of the six-day PLDP for the entire staff of DPSGS commenced with a refreshing yoga session, setting a serene and focused tone for the day's activities. Facilitators eagerly participated, immediately experiencing the benefits of physical relaxation and mental clarity that yoga offers.
This was followed by two PLDP sessions— the first on Cognition and Empathy conducted by Mr. Amit Deb, Document Management Specialist, Design Outreach of India Chapter, Indian Institute of Art and Design. The session focused on cognitive processes and empathetic understanding, highlighting techniques to enhance both in educational settings.
The next session conducted by Ms. Priya Vaid, Assistant Director, DPSG along with facilitators from different DPSG schools delved into Reflective Practices, featuring the Questa and Mirari frameworks. It emphasized the importance of self-reflection and continuous improvement in teaching methods.
Teachers actively engaged in both sessions, gaining valuable insights and practical tools to foster a more empathetic and reflective classroom environment. The sessions were well-received, with participants eager to apply their newfound knowledge to their teaching practices.
ICT WEEK 2024-25
DPSGI passionately believes that true progress can only be made through an unquenchable thirst for knowledge teeming with curiosity, creativity, and passion. The school organized the ICT Week from 13-17 May 2024 to provide opportunities for students to showcase their computer skills and enable them to unleash their creativity.
A plethora of Interclass competitions were organized which includes TREK – Exploring the ICT lab by STARZ, Intraclass Show and Tell parts of computer for grade I, Intraclass activity MS Paint on Exploring Nature and Mother Earth for grades II & III on the theme ‘Nature’, Interclass PowerPoint Presentation competition for grades IV & V on the theme ‘Human Body Systems’ and ‘Constitution of India’, Intraclass Webpage designing using Canva for grade 6 on the theme 'Mother’s Day'.
To encourage healthy competition and a sense of belongingness to the respective houses, several Inter- House Competitions were held which include Interhouse Webpage designing using HTML for grades 7 & 8 on the theme 'Labour Day’, Interhouse Bug/Error detection in Python code for grade 9-10 and Interhouse Quiz on ‘Emerging Technology’ grades VI and XII.
Overall, the students participated in an array of competitions that strengthened their literacy skills and tapped into their creativity and ingenuity. The students participated with remarkable energy and enthusiasm.
CBSE Reading Program
Students of DPSG International enthusiastically participated in the CBSE Reading Program and explored the Digital Library of India (NDLI), Sponsored by the Ministry of Education. Students delve into digital books, journals, manuscripts, and educational resources across multiple disciplines and languages, exam preparation material and research support.
DPSGIans enhanced their reading and critical thinking skills through this program.
Medical Health Checkup Camp
DPSGI is committed to fostering both mental and physical well-being! We're excited to announce a Medical Health Checkup held on campus, in collaboration with Manipal Hospital. Expert doctors conducted Normal Vitals screenings, including BP, sugar levels, height, and weight, providing valuable services to our parents, students, and staff.

DPSG International hosted Tech Essentials Boot Camp
DPSG International hosted its first-ever Tech Essentials Boot Camp on 23 May 2024, providing students with a comprehensive toolkit for navigating today's tech landscape. The day featured presentations by cybersecurity expert Mr. Keshav Sinha and career coach Ms. Tanvi Dhingra, alongside invited students and teachers from other schools.
Welcoming the guests, Principal Ms. Amita Bajpai spoke about the significance of ethical hacking and the necessity for both children and adults to stay updated about new breakthroughs in technology.
The session empowered students to tackle the digital world head-on. They learned to identify and counter prevalent cybersecurity risks, discover methods to hide sensitive data and share messages securely, and even experience practical simulations of real-world cyberattacks to master defense strategies.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and many students felt more prepared to pursue careers in the tech sector.
We look forward to building upon this success and host more events that equip our students with essential life skills, preparing them for the challenges of the future.
DPSG International honoured its stars
Class X and XII Board toppers with trophies and takeaways at a special Felicitation Ceremony held in the school today.
As the teachers and parents took pride in the remarkable accomplishments of their children, students of Classes VI to XII were all ears as their seniors shared what worked for them and kept them going in their journey to the top.
They also shared how the school was instrumental in helping them realise their dreams.
The proud parents expressed their gratitude towards the school in building a strong foundation and shaping the future of their wards.

Workshop on Penning down Effective LORs
Ms. Bhavvna Jolly, Senior Program Officer for Education USA at the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), and Ms. Aastha Virk Singh, Senior Education USA Adviser at USIEF, conducted a highly informative session on how to form a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for the teachers of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad International.
The session aimed to provide teachers with the skills and insights necessary to write effective and impactful letters of recommendation for their students aspiring to study abroad.
Ms. Aastha Virk opened the session by emphasizing the critical role that LORs play in the admissions process for international universities explaining how a well-crafted LOR can significantly enhance a student’s application by providing a comprehensive and personalized evaluation of their abilities, character, and achievements.
Ms. Bhavvna Jolly Singh then took the floor to detail the typical structure of an effective LOR. The session underscored several essential elements that make an LOR stand out along with discussing common pitfalls in LOR writing and how to avoid them. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where the teachers posed various questions about specific challenges they face when writing LORs. The resource persons provided detailed answers and additional tips, making the session highly engaging and informative.
Investiture Ceremony 2024-25
The XVII Investiture Ceremony at DPSG International wasn't just about badges and titles. It was a celebration of the values that define our students: dedication, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
School Principal Ms. Amita Bajpai awarded the badges to the student leaders and presided over the Swearing in Ceremony of the newly appointed Student Council.

In a collaborative effort between DPSG International and Manipal Hospital, we recently hosted a riveting health talk on asthma and upper respiratory problems!
Dr. Rajendra Saini, Pulmonologist and MD at Manipal Hospital and Professor at Rama Medical College, shared invaluable insights during this session.
From understanding asthma triggers to managing respiratory health, participants gained valuable knowledge to lead healthier lives. We thank Dr. Saini, for his expertise, and will continue in our effort to raise awareness and prioritize community health.

WORLD HERITAGE DAY
Today, on World Heritage Day, at DPSGI, students in Classes 6 to 12 embarked on a journey through time and culture as they explored the magnificence of The Sun Temple at Konark. Through an enriching virtual tour, they deepened their understanding and reflected upon the importance of preserving our monuments, culture, and heritage.
In a special assembly on Heritage Day themed "Discover and Experience Diversity," students celebrated the beauty of our differences. From architectural marvels to diverse traditions, we embraced the essence of unity in diversity.

DPSG International celebrates culmination of Clubs and Societies
DPSG International organized a magnificent event on 30 March, 2024 to mark the culmination of Clubs and Societies, an integral component of the Foundational Domain of the school curriculum. The Foundation Domain is a very significant component of CD 2020 – curriculum and it contributes substantially to the building of knowledge, skills, competencies, attitudes, dispositions, and values.
The spectacular event commenced with a warm welcome being accorded to the distinguished guests for the day Ms. Shveta Kapur, Faculty- Research and Development of the Central Academic Department, Ms. Priya Vaidya Assistant Director, Central Academic Department, distinguished alumni of the school Mr. Sarthak Upadhyaya and Ms. Aditi Singh, parents, and the students. School principal Ms. Amita Bajpai felicitated the guests. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp to usher in positivity and divine bliss. Ms. Amita Bajpai addressed the gathering and highlighted how the children have imbibed new learning and skills by being part of clubs and societies like Journalism and Editorial Society, The Community Outreach Society, Eureka- the Science Club, Bizakeo to name a few. She appreciated the students for the commendable display of the projects, charts, presentations in the Club Fair. She also requested the parents to be an active part of each and every initiative of the school as it motivates all the stakeholders and paves the way for further excellence. An enchanting rendition of ‘I have a Dream’ by the school choir mesmerized the audience. This was followed by a captivating performance of ‘Shiv Tandava’ in pure classical genre by Srijita, a student of grade XI. A mime act by students on the ill effects of excessive use of gadgets in today’s world, won a thunderous round of applause from the spectators. Both the performances left an indelible mark on the audience and showcased how the school nurtures the talents of the students. Both the alumni addressed the audience and reiterated how the school had groomed them over the years and helped them become the persons they are, on the road to success and fulfilment.
Last but not the least, the guests, students and parents visited the exhibition put up by clubs and societies. The visitors were highly impressed by the displays and presentations put up by the clubs and the passion with which students spoke about their learnings in the clubs. The fantastic event showcased yet another milestone crossed by DPSG International where innovation, passion and dedication are nurtured each day.
PYP EXHIBITION 2023-24
DPSG International celebrated the culmination of grade V PYP journey with a spectacular IB PYP Exhibition - "Together Toward Tomorrow"! Students showcased their learning on "Sharing the Planet" through engaging exhibits on Zero Hunger, Marine Pollution, Environmental Concerns and Conservation, and Clean Water and Sanitization through meaningful reflection of their journey.

Another successful edition of FESTINOBEATS has left everyone buzzing with excitement!
Children participated in a host of thrilling competitions, showcasing their talents, and stealing the show with their lively performances. Winners were duly recognized and awarded certificates, celebrating their achievements.
The DPSG International school campus was alive with the cheerful sounds of eager participants throughout the event, creating an atmosphere of energy and excitement.
Principal Amita Bajpai extended a warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of fine and performing arts in child development. She highlighted how engagement in the arts fosters qualities such as perseverance, creativity, problem-solving, and focus, which ultimately enhance academic performance.

DPSG International celebrated the Annual Proclamation Ceremony -Honors to the Scholars on 17 February, 2024 with remarkable joy and jubilation. The much-awaited event marks a special day in the lives of meritorious students who are recognized and felicitated for their trail blazing performance both in the Scholastic and Foundational Domains.
The function commenced with a mesmerising motivational song wherein the students of the school presented a heart-warming presentation on how we determine our success in life with the choices we make. School principal Ms. Amia Bajpai extended a warm and joyous welcome to the Guest of Honour for the day Dr. Anil Tomar, presently the Group Medical Director- Navin Group of Hospitals, Ghaziabad. He has also been the regional Co-Ordinator for the pulse Polio Program- Rotary International & UP Govt and the President of IMA. Ms. Bajpai welcomed School Chairman and member of DPSG Society, Mr. Rohit Pathak. She also welcomed esteemed guests and the parents on the commendable occasion. Ms. Amita Bajpai applauded the students for their brilliant achievements, and congratulated them for their diligence, hard work and perseverance. She also shared the distinguished achievements of the school which makes DPSG International one of the most prestigious schools and emphasised how DPSGI believed in recognising and rewarding the meritorious students. She thanked the parents for the faith reposed by them in the school. Honouring these proud recipients in numerous categories proved that they are a cut above the rest. The school ensured that all the domains are given due importance and honour because that is the key to nurture learners of the 21st century.
This was followed by an inspirational dance presented by the danseuses of the school.
The Award Ceremony commenced on a note of pride and accomplishment. School Toppers and Subject Toppers for both classes X and XII were awarded for their stupendous performance. School Chairman Mr. Rohit Pathak and the Guest of Honour Dr. Anil Tomar felicitated the awardees. The ceremony commenced by felicitating the School Topper for class XII, Aditri Narula who scored a commendable 99%. It was indeed a matter of great pride to felicitate Class XII Toppers, Anshika Gupta and Gopal Bansal who secured 95 % and topped the Science stream, Soumika Agarwal the topper with 97.8%, Class X Topper, Pradanya Singh who secured 98%. Subject Proficiency awards were also given to a number of deserving students. The other awardees included Scholar Blazer and Scholar Badge holders for different classes. Students were also felicitated for different categories in the Affective Domain. It was a proud moment for the parents to see their wards being recognised for their commitment and hard work.
School Chairman Mr. Rohit Pathak congratulated all the awardees and the parents. He reiterated how it is a matter of great joy and pride to see 249 students being rewarded for their unfailing spirits, zeal and hard work. He thanked the parents for their unwavering support. Dr Anil Tomar held the audience with his mesmerising address wherein he elaborated on the need of working hard with a sense of purpose.

DPSG International organizes session on Gantavya Program.
DPSG International has always believed in providing the best of opportunities to students so that they achieve not only academic excellence but also are equipped with 21 century skills and a positive attitude which will enable them to pursue career paths of their choice and excel in them.
The school organized a session for Gantavya Programme on 16 February, 2024 in the school premises. Gantavya is a cutting -edge programme being launched by DPSGI to equip and empower students for national level competitive examinations e.g. Olympiads, KVPY, CUET, IIT-JEE, NEET etc. The programme is designed to build proficiency , grade wise, for classes VIII to XII.
The session commenced with a warm welcome being accorded to the Resource person from Innovartan, Mr. Purushottam, Co-Founder- My Classroom, Founder- Puruda Chemistry Classes and Founder- Harmonics Classes. Mr. Purushottam conducted a very interactive session wherein he gave a very comprehensive overview of the programme through a detailed presentation. He elaborated upon the features of the programme which will ensure that students are provided with the best of academic rigour, study material, support from expert teachers along with the incentive of saving time and unnecessary expenditure because the classes will be conducted in the school itself. Students posed several interesting questions to the Resource person which were answered satisfactorily by him. Students were guided upon how they will register for the Admission cum Gantavya Scholastic Assessment Test (GSAT), which will be conducted on Monday, 10 February, 2024.
School Principal Ms. Amita Bajpai addressed the students, parents and the faculty and elucidated how the programme will benefit the students immensely and prepare them extensively for competitive examinations. The session ended with Ms. Nidhi Narayan, Senior Co-Ordinator thanking the parents and the Resource person.
Visit to Lohagarh Farms

At DPSGI, we believe in providing experiential learning opportunities where students learn by doing, reflecting on their experiences and applying their knowledge in real-world situations. In line with this vision, the school organized a visit to Lohagarh Farms in Gurgaon for students from Nursery to XII on 8th February 2024.
The activities at Lohagarh Farms offered students practical experiences that engaged their senses and encouraged active participation, making the learning process more meaningful and memorable. They had an enriching time exploring the traditional aspects of rural life through activities like camel rides, bullock cart rides, tube well baths, animal feeding, agriculture activities, pottery painting and mehndi.
The adventure activities were equally thrilling, with students taking on challenges like the commando crawl, Tarzan swing, Burma bridge, commando net, double rope bridge, rope climbing, rope ladder, and more which provided them with opportunities to develop camaraderie and team building . It was a day filled with excitement and fun, providing our students with a holistic learning experience.
DPSGI organized Farewell
DPSGI organized the Farewell Function for the outgoing batch of class XII on 3 February,2024 in the school premises. The day began on an auspicious note with a Hawan Ceremony being held in the school premises. Earnest prayers were offered to seek blessings of the almighty and offer gratitude for all the benevolence showered by the almighty. The holy chants charged the environment with lot of positive energy.
The Farewell Function commenced with a melodious medley of songs sung by students of class XI. This was followed by the handing over of responsibilities wherein the school flag was handed over by the School Captain (Boys)Shobhan Sharma and School Captain (Girls) Bhavya Singhal to the School Vice-Captains, Mohit Singh and Tazkiya Qadri. The solemn occasion once again reminded the student community how school leadership roles entailed total dedication, deep commitment, and a sense of ownership towards their school. School Captains and the Vice-Captains shared their messages packed with emotions, wherein they emphasized how the school has groomed them, motivated them and given them countless opportunities to blossom beautifully. They pledged to carry forward the legacy of the school so that wherever they go and whatever they do, a part of DPSGI always lives through them. The next presentation was a vibrant, fun-filled musical skit that captured moments of students’ school life. This was followed by a foot tapping fusion dance that cheered all hearts, followed by the announcement of endearing titles for the students of class XII. Souvenir cards made by the students of class XI and mementoes were also given as a token of love. Class teachers Mr. Bharat Kumar and Mr. Anurag Singhal addressed the students and conveyed their best wishes to the outgoing batch. Some students of class XII also shared touching glimpses of their remarkable journey in school.
Senior School Co-ordinator, Ms. Nidhi Narayan, touched every heart with the warmth of her words and emphasized how the children have been an invaluable asset for the school. She shared how she believed that each one of them will live the values nurtured in them by DPSGI and do very well for themselves, their family and the society. She gave her blessings and appreciated the wonderful function put up by class XI. The day ended with a delicious lunch organized for all by the school.
DPSGI organizes counselling session on Aptitude Testing
DPSG International organized a session on the importance and efficacy of Aptitude Testing for class X students on 12 January, 2024 in the school premises. Stream selection in class XI is one of the most crucial yet difficult choices that students need to make, and informed choice is much needed so that the guiding factors are based on logic and reason and not peer pressure or parental preferences.
The session commenced with a warm welcome being extended by the school Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari to the resource person, Ms. Ojsvi Sharma an internationally certified career coach at Mindler with a background of graduation in the field of education from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with specialization in counselling and psychotherapy. Ms. Ojsvi conducted a very interesting and interactive session with the students wherein she detailed upon the various steps for Aptitude Testing e.g. Psychometric Assessment by experts and the result analysis by experts that facilitates understanding of orientation styles and gives clarity regarding Stream Assessment and selection. She highlighted how Interest areas can be determined on a scale of 1-9 and Personality types determined. Students asked several questions pertaining to their areas of interest and doubts and they were answered very comprehensively by the Resource person. Very interestingly, she talked about the hundreds of career opportunities available in universities today and motivated students to constantly explore areas that suit their interests, aspirations, skills and competencies.
The session ended with thanking the Resource person for the enriching and engaging session.
DPSGI's Christmas Week Extravaganza - A Celebration of Joy and Talent
DPSGI (School Name) recently concluded a week-long celebration filled with joyous festivities and talent showcases in honor of the Christmas spirit. The school premises were adorned with festive cheer as students, parents, and faculty came together to create unforgettable memories.
Event Highlights:
Day 1 - Christmas Corner: The week commenced with a heartwarming Christmas Corner that brought warmth and joy to everyone involved. Festive decorations and spirited activities set the tone for the delightful week ahead.
Day 2 - Christmas Character Walk: Spirits soared high as students and staff participated enthusiastically in a Christmas Character Walk, adding a vibrant touch to the celebration.
Day 3 - Potluck Party: The school community indulged in a culinary delight with a Potluck Party, sharing laughter and a variety of flavors that enriched the festive ambiance.
Day 4 - Carol Singing Competition: Melodious tunes filled the air during the Carol Singing Competition, showcasing the musical talent and spreading joy throughout the school.
Day 5 - Awards Ceremony: The week culminated in an awards ceremony honoring the incredible children for their enthusiastic participation and remarkable talent. The smiles, laughter, and exceptional skills displayed by the students were truly commendable.
Mathematics Week 2023
Maths Week Celebration at DPSG International from December 18th to 21st, 2023, was an electrifying fusion of numbers, creativity, and innovation. The students ignited their passion for mathematics through a plethora of engaging activities that turned learning into a thrilling adventure.
The highlight of the week was the infectious enthusiasm displayed by students during the 'Maths Rap' sessions. They merged rhythm with equations, transforming complex theories into catchy verses, and had everyone tapping their feet to the beat of math. The fusion of art and numbers took centre stage in 'Art with Numbers,' where students unleashed their creativity, crafting stunning visuals using mathematical concepts as their muse.
The essence of history came alive as students embodied the greatest mathematicians through enthralling role plays. From Archimedes to Ada Lovelace, the hallways echoed with the narratives of these mathematical geniuses, inspiring admiration, and reverence for their contributions.
In a world increasingly dominated by technology, our students showcased their prowess by designing and building mathematical online games. Their innovative creations not only entertained but also sharpened mathematical acumen, proving that learning through play is indeed the most effective.
What truly made this week exceptional was the unbridled participation and enthusiasm of every student. They embraced the challenges, delved into the depths of numbers, and emerged with newfound appreciation and love for mathematics. As we conclude this exhilarating celebration, we carry forward the spirit of curiosity and exploration, fostering a lifelong love for the beautiful world of numbers.
In Open Conversation with Ayush Singh- a meritorious alumnus of DPSG International.
DPSG International believes in the tradition of recognizing and felicitating its alumni. The alumni can be an invaluable source of inspiration and support for the present students and the alumni of DPSGI has done commendable value addition through the interactive sessions undertaken by them.
The school had the opportunity of hosting Mr. Ayush Singh, a very meritorious alumnus of the school, on 20 December, 2023. He holds a highly competitive PhD position in Geometry and Mathematical Physics at the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA), Trieste, in Italy, where he is pursuing research in Mathematics that is the basis of fundamental Theoretical Physics. Mr. Ayush was welcomed and felicitated by the school Principal, Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, who stated that it was indeed a matter of great joy and pride to have to have students back to the school and have them connect to their alma mater. Students from classes VI-XII and the faculty attended the session wherein the Principal, students and the faculty engaged in an open conversation about Ayush’s experiences at school that shaped him and his areas of interest, the precious memories he cherishes about school and his connect with his teachers. He also spoke at length about his area of research, his passion for Mathematics, the curiosity and scientific spirit that drives him to engage in research and explore relentlessly. Students and teachers of the school posed a number of questions and Ayush answered them diligently. His amiable behavior, sharp mind and grounded demeanor stole all hearts. He is justifiably a role model for the students who will take inspiration from him for the passion, discipline and hard work that he epitomizes. The school Principal and the faculty congratulated and thanked him and wished him the best for all his future endevours.

Being a parent is the biggest bliss; however, parenting can also be the most daunting task for many, especially in the modern times when parents are in constant pressure to get everything exactly ‘right’--a pursuit of perfection that may make parenting feel hard. It therefore becomes important for parents to unlearn a few things and learn many new skills to navigate the challenges of parenting while fostering healthy relationships with their children.
The school with the aim to equip parents with valuable insights and practical strategies for fostering a positive and nurturing environment to support their child's development and well-being organised a remarkable Positive Parenting Session, conducted by the dynamic school Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari.
Sir discussed effective communication techniques, emphasizing the significance of active listening, expressing emotions constructively, and maintaining open and honest dialogue with children. He also encouraged parents to be active participants in their children's education by attending school events, volunteering in the classroom, and participating in parent-teacher conferences.
The parents were grateful for such an enriching and insightful workshop and shared that the innovative practices and personalized tips learnt by them would contribute to a more stable, harmonious and positive family environment.
Visit to National Science Centre
DPSG International hosted a visit to the National Science Centre. On October 27, 2023. A group of 14 teachers and 159 students from classes III to XII had the privilege of visiting the state of art center in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The National Science Centre is a renowned institution dedicated to promoting scientific knowledge and education among people of all ages.
Upon arrival at the National Science Centre, students and teachers were greeted by an array of interactive exhibits that covered various fields of science. These exhibits made complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging for students of all age groups. One of the highlights of the visit was the Human Biology Gallery, where students could explore the intricacies of the human body. This gallery featured anatomical models, interactive displays on digestion, and information about the circulatory system. Students were encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in these sessions.
The visit to the National Science Centre was not just a day of fun and excitement; it had a profound educational impact. Students and teachers alike left the centre with a renewed enthusiasm for scientific inquiry and the urge to explore more in the realm of science. The visit helped students relate theoretical knowledge to practical applications, making science more accessible and relatable. It also highlighted the importance of a scientific perspective in everyday life and the significance of developing scientific temperament.

VIVACITY - Interschool Fest 2023
DPSG International organized Vivacity- 2023, the Annual Fiesta of Interschool competitions for classes VI-XII, on 19 October 2023. The mega event is an endeavour to provide a platform for students to showcase their innate talent and bring to the fore the powerhouse of their creativity, imagination and ingenious skills. The event commenced on an auspicious note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the esteemed judges and the school Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari. Mr. Sanjay Tiwari welcomed the judges, parents, alumni, participants and the escorting teachers. He also felicitated the judges and thanked them for sparing their precious time to grace the occasion. This was followed by a mellifluous song presentation and a captivating dance performance by the students of DPSG International who proved once again that the students at the school excel in creativity and artistic expression. The school Principal addressed the audience and stressed that such events provide immense opportunities to students to explore their potential, sharpen their skills and shape their personalities. He also declared the event open, amidst lot of excitement and enthusiasm among participating students. Many schools from Ghaziabad and NCR, participated in a number of competitions which encompassed domains from Music to Fine Arts, Dance to Declamation, Theatre to Maths & IT Competition, English Character Dramatization and Sanskrit Strotra Gayan to a duel of French cuisine. The participants exhibited remarkable ingenuity, creative prowess, verbal exuberance and richness of expression.
The event concluded on a grand note in the Valedictory Function wherein winners were felicitated for their commendable achievement. The judges congratulated the winners and praised all the participants for the sincere efforts put in and the brilliant show of their skills and competencies. The overall winners for the event were Vanasthali Public School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad and the Runners Up was St John’s School, Ghaziabad, who proudly lifted the trophies. The School Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari also appreciated all the participants and reiterated that winning is not about securing a position but about the hard work and preparation that goes into it. He congratulated the team which convened the function successfully.
The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Rekha Guleria- Head Proctor and Wing Co-Ordinator.
DPSGI organizes University Fair
DPSG International hosted University Fair on October 13, 2023 in collaboration with Career Counselling and University Placement – a special initiative by DPSG society in the school premises. The guest for the event was Ms. Aparna, Manager CCUP Programme. This was a great exposure for the students as they interacted with the representatives of 35+ reputed National and International Universities.
The event commenced with the opening ceremony and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by school Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, Manager CCUP Ms. Aparna Chakrabarty and the university representatives, to invoke the blessings of the almighty. The choir school then presented a melodious song ‘I have a dream’ which began the day on a very positive note. This was followed by Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari welcoming the university representatives, the students, teachers, and the other guests. He reiterated how such initiatives are very significant in today’s time wherein students must make the right career choices and choose right institutions so that they can live their dreams.
The fair was attended by 260 students from schools like Indirapuram Public School and also students from DPSGI. Various National and International Universities briefed students about the programs offered, admission process, scholarships, financing, infrastructure available and the eligibility criteria. They also shared brochures and prospectus with the students for all details pertaining to the respective universities. Representatives from many renowned national universities like RV University, BITS Law School, Manipal University, Christ University, Ashoka University, UPES Dehradun, Flame University and International universities like Monash University, University of Cincinnati participated in the fair. British Council gave valuable information on various universities of UK. Many parents also joined the event and acquired the much-needed information. Students and parents had high words of appreciation for the event and the flawless way it was conducted.
In conclusion, the University Fair was a success hit which gave students a great opportunity to explore about their future and the options that could lead them to success.
SPONTANIA 2023
DPSG International proudly hosted Spontania 2023, a spectacular inter-school event, on October 12, with a focus on celebrating the "Legacy of India." The event was a remarkable success, featuring a wide array of cultural activities, competitions and displays such as Dramebaaz, Rhyme Rhythm, Happy Feet, Fiddle Scribble, Taste of India, Suvachan, and Quiz Whiz.
The festivities kicked off with a welcoming song and a classical dance performance by the school's talented students. Special guests for the event included parents and alumni, who graced the occasion with their splendid performances, earning thunderous applause.
Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, the school's principal, encouraged the students to honour and appreciate India's cultural diversity. He commended the enthusiastic participation of both students and parents.

The enchanting cultural evening “Tarannum” hosted at DPSG International on October 7, 2023 was filled with the magic of love, laughter, talent and togetherness that was truly mesmerizing. The stage came alive with the remarkable performances of over 50 participants—parents, children and alumni who came together to dazzle us with their brilliance! It was not just a cultural evening; it was a celebration of diversity, a showcase of talent and the bond of shared camaraderie.
Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari extended his heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their wholehearted participation. He expressed a sincere commitment to treasuring these magical moments, promising many more celebrations together in the days to come.
DPSG International launches an Art & Cultural center at its campus
The first-of-its-kind by a school in the city; the centre promises to be the haven for honing cultural talent
Ghaziabad, October 3: The Delhi Public School Ghaziabad International (DPSGI), known for its academic results, launched an Art and Cultural Centre at its campus today. The Centre named ‘Kala Prabodhini’ houses state-of-the art facilities in art, craft, theatre, and dance that promise to hone the talent of the youth.
Kala Prabodhini was formally launched by the Chief Guest Mr. Gambhir Singh- Additional District Magistrate in the presence of Guests of Honour Green Man of India- Mr. Vijay Pal Baghel; Tulsi Man – Mr. Rajeev Tyagi; Mrs. Chetna Tiwary- Parent Ambassador; Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, Principal, and members of the media.
In his address, Mr. Sanjay Tiwari shared: “Apart from excellent academics, DPSG International has produced some of the best sports tournaments and has a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence for Sports, with the largest skating rink in the city. The school is reckoned for its art & culture education. Our faculty is recipient of the Sangeet Natak Academy by the hon’ble President of India.
It is noteworthy that the Teaching Learning at DPSG International is enriching, engaging as it is Student – Led and Inquiry based. The school offers the IB PYP curriculum from Grades 1 to 5 and this makes it one of the very few schools in Ghaziabad to do so.
This was followed by the inauguration of the Art and Cultural Centre- Kala Prabodhini by the guests who had high words of praise for the clean and green school. The school has the distinction of being selected as the cleanest and greenest school of the city.
The students of the school engaged in a cleanliness Drive and Plantation Drive in congruence with Swacchata Mission by the Govt of India and also paid tribute to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the school in shaping students to take on the challenges of the 21st century and play their roles with elan.

INTERACT CLUB INSTALLATION
DPSG International organized the Installation of the Interact Club Rotary District 3012 2023-24 on 01 September2023 in the school premises. The ceremony was organized to badge the Interact team of Rotary District 3012 of DPSGI. The ceremony began with the national anthem which was followed by the lightning of the lamp by the Principal, Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, Rotary Club President Rajesh Puri, Rotary Club Secretary Gaurav Bhargava, Rotary Club Trainer TN Malhotra, Member Rtn Sarun Gupta, along with students and Interactors. The school Principal, Mr. Sanjay Tiwari welcomed the guests and parents with open arms and thanked them for gracing the occasion. He also elaborated upon his vision for the club and the school. The school choir presented a melodious and euphonious song to welcome the guests. Class XI student, Srijita Pal danced on the Durga Stuti to evoke the blessings of Goddess Durga. Then Mohit Tiwari, the newly elected President of the club took the oath and shared his vision and the future project plannings for the club. The badging of the members was the next in line wherein they were handed over with great power along with immense responsibility. Mohit Tiwary, the President would be assisted by Dalenaaz Khuttel, the Vice President. The other appointees were, the secretary of the club, Angel Sharma, along with the joint secretary Dimple Chaudhary. The Treasurer Anirudh Goyal was handed over the responsibility of the Finance Committee and Parisha Singhal was appointed as the Sergeant at Arms for the session 2023-24. The Club Directors badges were Aara Singh, Hemika Verma, Manan Mittal, Saksham Singhal, Akshara Garg and Aditi Singh. Ananya Garg would be functioning as the Club Editor for the session. The roles of office bearers of the club would be carried out by these students which would encompass service, leadership, personal growth, and community engagement. Through their active participation, these members would contribute to the betterment of their communities and develop skills and values that will serve them well throughout their lives.
Mr. Rajesh Puri, Rotary Club President shared his words of wisdom with the gathering followed by Club Secretary Mr. Gaurav Bharrgava and Member Rtn Sarun Gupta. Club Trainer Mr. TN Malhotra motivated students to do yoga and be fit. The ceremony was a great success highlighting the importance of community service, leadership, and the positive impact the club can have. The event was not only important for recognizing the dedication of the students involved but also for inspiring them to continue making a positive difference in their community through various service projects and initiatives. The ceremony ended with Ms. Nidhi, Senior Wing Coordinator proposing the formal vote of thanks to all the guests, parents, principal and students.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION at DPSGI
Freedom is the open window through which pours the sunlight of the human spirit and human dignity.
DPSG International celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and gaiety. The entire school premise was decorated with the resplendent Tri-colour and reverberated with patriotic fervour.
The day began with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Chief Guest Dr Anil Tomar, Group Medical Director at the Navin Group of Hospitals in Ghaziabad and the Regional Co-ordinator for the Pulse Polio Programme, special invitee Mr Ravi Panwar, Principal Mr Sanjay Tiwari, members of the parent community and the students of the school. As the pride of India, our flag, danced s upon the breeze, its vibrant colours and striking design capturing the essence of the nation's identity, history, and aspirations, the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony also took place. The school choir presented a soulful and melodious patriotic song enthralling everyone present. The audience was then transported into a world of fervent patriotism as our school proudly presented a captivating dance drama weaving together the threads of history, the struggle for freedom, the triumph of courage, and national pride in a mesmerizing saga of movement and emotion. It was indeed a breathtaking ode to the martyrs of the freedom struggle.
There was another treat in store for the audience where in some of our talented and marvellous parents stepped into the spotlight and presented a magnificent dance performance. We had with us Mr. Sanjay Sharma, parent of Shobhan, Ms Richa Uniyal, parent of Atharva and Ms Farheen Asif, mother of Alina and Ahil and alumnus Aliza. We also had with us Ms Simmi Goel, parent of Vatsal and alumnus Ujjwal. Through their incredibly energetic and splendid performance they were able to mesmerise everyone present there.
The Principal along with some of the students of the school has created a thought provoking documentary on Independence Day, which was released during the programme. The documentary with its fabulous visuals and Principal Sir’s glorious voice over was welcomed with a thunderous applause.
Addressing the gathering the Chief Guest Dr Tomar said that the youth of the country would in real sense be free when they are free from the slavery of the electronic gadgets, when they are free from small mindedness and when they have decided to walk on the path of hard work and diligence.
Welcoming all the parents and guests, the Principal of the school, Mr Sanjay Tiwari talked about how important it was to be spiritually progressive and intellectually prosperous. He further stated that where it was incredible that we had reached Mars yet being emotionally available for one’s acquaintances and friends was even more important. He also stressed upon the necessity of rising above differences and working together to overcome challenges, to build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.
The cultural programme was followed by a plantation drive and kite flying in the lush green grounds of the school which saw enthusiastic participation by the students, parents and the staff. The celebration ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Rekha Guleria, Wing Coordinator, DPSGI.
CULTURAL EVENING AT THE SCHOOL
The school organised a spectacular and grand cultural evening, exclusively for our parent community. The purpose for the programme was to provide our dear parents a platform to exhibit their creative skills, talents and entrepreneurial ventures.
The evening commenced with a series of captivating performances presented by parents. Dressed in traditional attire, the parents mesmerised every one present with their stunning dances, moving theatrical performances, enthralling music prowess, melodious poetry recitals, and a lot more. These performances not only entertained the audience but also allowed everyone to appreciate the diversity of talent that our parents possess.
In addition to live performances, the event featured a visual arts exhibition by talented parents who expressed their creativity through an array of entrepreneurial exhibits. On the display were paintings, sculptures, crafts, handcrafted jewelry, homemade baked goods, and more. The parents were enthusiastic in explaining their business concepts and sharing their journeys as entrepreneurs. It was heartening to witness the diverse range of creative skills among the parents, and their enthusiasm in sharing their passions with the audience.
The icing on the cake was the performance by none other than the Principal of the School Mr Sanjay Tiwari, the driving force behind the mega show. Among the calls for an encore, the Principal thanked all the parents for not just making time for the programme but also for their stupendous performances.
The Cultural Programme saw an unprecedented success. The parents shared that it allowed them to bring to fore their hidden and unexplored talents and entrepreneurial skills.

FREE DENTAL CHECKUP
DPSG International has always engaged in serving the greater community by organizing Blood Donation Camps, Vaccination Camps and Health Checkup camps. In keeping with the same mission, the school organized a free Dental Checkup in collaboration with Felix Multispecialty Dental Clinic from RDC, Rajnagar, Ghaziabad on 29 July, 2023 in the school premises. Dr Mukul Sharma, Dr Nitish Gupta and DR Pooja Chaudhary conducted the camp wherein oral checkup was done for 54 visitors which included teachers and parents. Precious guidelines were shared regarding dental wellness, particularly precautions to be taken to prevent dental cavity.
The camp benefitted the visiting parents, who came to the school in large numbers to attend the PTM and they appreciated the efforts of the school in organizing such camps.

The school held an Open Dialogue aimed at introducing the new Principal, Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, to the parents and providing them with essential information about the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and the Curriculum Design 2020 (CD 2020).
The ceremony began with a sense of reverence as the Principal, Mr. Tiwari, along with a group of parents and teachers, lit the lamp. The symbolic act signified the collective effort of the school, parents, and teachers in guiding the students towards enlightenment and wisdom.
Following the lighting of the lamp, Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari delivered an extraordinary speech that left a lasting impact on everyone present. His words were both inspiring and thought-provoking, capturing the attention of the audience right from the start.
Mr. Tiwari shared his unique vision for the school and the students. He emphasized the importance of nurturing not just academically proficient individuals but also happy human beings. ENGLISH WEEK 2023
DPSG International conducted the English Week from 17th to 21st July 2023. The entire week was filled with interesting activities and competitions for classes 6-12, challenging their creativity and language skills as the competitions not only included quizzes and Vocab Challenges for class VII but also Group Recitation for class VI, Role Play of Literary Characters for class VIII, Character Dramatization for class X, Debate for classes IX and XI and Declamation for class XII. The Poem Composition, Illustration and Recitation- an activity taken up at the Inter House level for classes X-XII brought out the imagination, innovative ideas, and creativity at its best. Students enthusiastically participated in all competitions and engaged themselves in excelling in a variety of events.

PRINCIPAL'S TALK - EMPOWERING YOUNG MINDS

In an extremely interactive and vibrant session with the students of Classes IX to XII, Principal Mr. Sanjay Tiwari effectively wielded his strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with students. With his warm smile and enigmatic words, he was able to establish an instant connect with the students, setting the stage for a very meaningful and positive interaction.
He addressed the young minds, inspiring them to unleash their full potential. He emphasized the power of self-belief, urging students to have confidence in their abilities and dreams.
The Principal spoke about embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. He shared personal stories of resilience and determination, encouraging the students to persevere even in the face of obstacles.
The Principal also spoke about failures and how to cope with them, assuring the students that even the most successful people in the world have faced multiple failures in life before becoming celebrities. He encouraged them to learn from their mistakes, take risks, exercise their hidden potential and never be afraid of rejection.
The session also emphasized the importance of exploring one's passions and interests. The Principal emphasized that education is not just about academics, but also about discovering one's true self.
He called upon the students to design a website, start their own podcasts and radio shows and let their voice be heard by millions.
He inspired them to come up as effective communicators, identify their strengths, work on their shortcomings and come out as confident and empowered individuals, ready to take on the world.
The success of the session was evident in the sparkling eyes of the students and animated discussions that continued long after it ended, leaving a lasting impression on the students' minds and hearts.
COUNSELLING SESSION ON LIBERAL EDUCATION
DPSG International in collaboration with CCUP, a novel initiative of DPSG society, organized a counselling session on Liberation Education, 18 July 2023 for the students of classes X-XII. CCUP (Career Counselling and University Placements) has been providing invaluable support to the students by providing them quality career counselling and working through processes that have placed students in best of national and foreign universities. The Resource Person for the session was Ms. Vrinda Tandon, a member of Ashok University’s Outreach Team. Her role is that of a Guidance Counsellor and her work includes helping students and parents understand different aspects of Liberal Education in India.
The session commenced with the Principal of the school, Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, welcoming and felicitating the Resource Person. A very comprehensive session was undertaken by Ms. Vrinda on the vision and nature of NEP 2020 and how knowledge is multiplying and aging faster and we are allowing technology to select information for us. Through a very detailed presentation she explained how there a paradigm shift in education and students has been are heading for a 4 years study programme in the Undergraduate level where, very interestingly, they will have freedom to select what they ‘want to study’ and not go by what they ‘have to study.’ She detailed upon the tenets of Liberation Education wherein students will have the choice to select subjects and programmes across Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. The need of the present times as far as career options is concerned is, Critical thinking, Problem Solving, Communication and Social Awareness. School and college students today will head for a huge number of career options that are not even known today as careers are constantly evolving. She also reiterated how many universities across the country have already opted for these programmes and students need to update themselves on a regular basis to make informed decisions regarding their future course of study and career options.

DPSGI INTERACT CLUB HONOURED WITH DIAMOND CLUB AWARD
We are super excited to share that DPSGI Interact Club has been honoured with the very noteworthy Diamond Club Award by Rotary District 3012, in just the fourth year of its inception.
Under the able guidance of their mentor Mr. Sudip Ghosh and Club President Aditri Narula the highly motivated Interactors initiated projects like 'Each One Teach One', Book Donation Drive, Blood Donation, Vaccination Drive, Plantation Drive and numerous other awareness programmes.
The members were invited to participate in the District Interact Leadership Assembly “Thanks Giving” – Shukrana. The Gratitude, held on 29 June 2023, hosted by Rotary District 3012. The Ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the felicitation of District Governor and DIR. The District Interact Chair Mr. Mukesh Gupta addressed the gathering and applauded our students for serving the society and enlightened the gathering about the year-long journey of the Club.
This recognition has further strengthened the resolution of the Interact Club of DPSG International to reach out to the community and make a difference. The Interactors pledged continued support to the Rotary and be consistent in their efforts in the future as well.
ICT Week
DPSGI firmly believes that true progress can only be made through an unquenchable thirst for knowledge teeming with curiosity, creativity and passion. The school organized the ICT Week from 22-27 May 2023 to provide opportunities for students to showcase their computer skills and enable them to unleash their creativity.
A plethora of Interclass competitions were organized which include Intraclass Show and Tell parts of computer for grade I, Intraclass PowerPoint Presentation competition for grades II & III on the theme ‘Nature’, Interclass PowerPoint Presentation competition for grades IV & V on the theme ‘Pollution’, Intraclass Webpage designing using HTML for grade 6 on the theme 'My Profile'.
To encourage healthy competition and a sense of belongingness to the respective houses, several Inter- House Competitions were held which include Interhouse Webpage designing using Adobe Express for grade 7 on the theme 'Evolution of computers’, Interhouse Webpage designing using HTML/CSS for grade 8 on the theme ‘Artificial Intelligence’, Interhouse Bug/Error detection in Python code for grade 9-10 and Interhouse application development for grade XI and XII.
DPSGI organized an online Interschool Minecraft build challenge in which many schools participated and showcased their project in Minecraft on the theme ‘Smart Cities’.
Overall, the students participated in an array of competitions that strengthened their literacy skills and tapped into their creativity and ingenuity. The students participated with remarkable energy and enthusiasm.

SCIENCE WEEK
DPSG International celebrated Science week from 24 April to 28 April 2022. Each day of the week, children were positively engaged in a host of interesting inter class and house activities like role play, fun with experiments, creating working models on scientific concepts, lot of research and analysis on popular science myths and deriving facts from prevalent fiction in science, Industrial visits and science Journalism.
The aim of the activities was to enthuse students and get them involved in the global scientific perspective as well as to stimulate their understanding of how science impacts their future and daily lives which was creatively demonstrated by students during the activities through the entire week.

At DPSG International learning is not confined to the four walls of the classroom – it takes the students beyond boundaries and textbooks to a world of virtual reality. The tour to the sculpture gallery of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai on Friday, 7 April 2023 was one such exceptional experience. Organised by SPIC MACAY, this virtual tour to one of the oldest museums in the country with a live and interactive commentary about the history and architecture of the museum and details of the sculpture gallery in particular, was truly amazing. Beautiful sculptures from Aihole and Pattadakal, Shamalaji and Konark kept the children captivated.
This initiative to develop a love for Indian art and culture among the youth is undoubtedly commendable.
Farewell to the students of class XII batch of 2022-23
A heartwarming Farewell was accorded to the students of Class XII batch of 2022-23 at DPSG International. While it was a time for reflection, memories, gratitude and ceremonial goodbyes, it was also a time for celebration and fun.
A special havan and puja in the school premises marked the farewell ceremony. School Captain Aditri Narula handed over the School Flag to the School Vice-Captain Bhavya Singhal, who promised to carry forward the legacy of the school.
Children reminisced the sweet memories of childhood and how leaving school was like leaving behind the golden phase of life. They also shared how the school had transformed them into confident and strong individuals ready to take on the world.
A hilarious skit, a fusion dance, souvenirs and mementoes along with a lovely lunch made the day memorable.
Addressing the students, the School Director Mr. Rajesh Khanna wished them a bright and successful future ahead. Head of School Ms. Soma Singh touched every heart with the warmth of her words and blessed the children to follow their dreams and excel in whatever they do.
The beautiful campus of DPSG International was abuzz with excitement and activity on Saturday, 4 February 2023. The school, in partnership with Axis Bank had organised ‘Make a Splash Save the World’ Contest for children which was a brilliant opportunity to unleash their creativity in the form of beautiful paintings, creative writing and craft work.
The Green Man of India Mr. Vijaypal Baghel and Tulsi Man Mr. Rajeev Tyagi were among the eminent guests who inspired the children. Mr. Rajesh Khanna, Director DPSG schools, was also present on the occasion. Welcoming the guests, participants and parents, Head of School Ms. Soma Singh extended a special thanks to Axis Bank for partnering in this magnificent event that helped create awareness for the environment and forge new bonds of friendship.

Christmas Carnival
The month of December brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad tidings. DPSG International organized Christmas Carnival on Saturday, 24 December 2022 in the school campus with great pomp and show. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and welcomed everyone to this joyful celebration of colour, lights, music and dance. All the students, faculty members and parents were very excited and full of enthusiasm for the celebration.
The occasion was graced by eminent guest, Co-Founder & Director, Wizdom Tree, Dr. Nanditesh Nilay.
Children showcased their talent by participating in the Art, Dance and Talent show. The participant’s talent and confidence shined through as they paraded the Ramp walk. Various stalls of fun games, shopping bazaars, and lip-smacking food and fun-filled rides were set up to add boundless joy. Fun and frolic along with music and the charming Santa in the campus completely took over the zeal among students was such that they couldn’t help tapping their feet to the traditional music too!
Head of the School, Ms. Soma Singh expressed her delight at seeing such enthusiasm in the children who brought the spirit of Christmas to life. She wished each one Merry Christmas and said let Christmas sparkle with moments of love, laughter and goodwill.
Annual Scholar Badge Ceremony
DPSG International celebrated the Annual Scholar Badge Ceremony on 24 December, 2022 with remarkable joy and jubilation. The much-awaited event marks a special day in the lives of meritorious students who are recognized and felicitated for their exemplary performance both in the Scholastic and Foundational Domains.
The function commenced with a mesmerising motivational song wherein the students of the school presented a heart-warming presentation on how we determine our success in life with the choices we make. Head of School Ms. Soma Singh extended a warm and joyous welcome to the Chief Guest for the day Dr. Nanditesh Nilay an ardent human values advocate, leadership trainer, author, Political & Social Analyst and Entrepreneur. She also welcomed Director, DPSG Schools, Mr. Rajesh Khanna, esteemed guests and the parents for the commendable occasion. Ms. Soma Singh applauded the students for their brilliant achievements, and congratulated them for their diligence, hard work and perseverance. She thanked the parents for the faith reposed by them in the school. Honouring these proud recipients in numerous categories proved that they are a cut above the rest. The school ensured that all the domains are given due importance and honour because that is the key to nurture learners of the 21st century.
This was followed by an inspirational dance presented by the danseuses of the school.
DPSGS Director, Mr. Rajesh Khanna congratulated the students and their parents and reiterated how the school is coming up with state of art facilities in sports so as to train students for the National and International competitions.
The Award Ceremony commenced on a note of pride and accomplishment. School Toppers and Subject Toppers for both classes X and XII were awarded for their stupendous performance. It was indeed a matter of great pride to felicitate Class XII Toppers Ishita Bhatia and Om Agarwal who secured 97.25 % and Class X Topper, Arpit Goel who secured 95.4%. Subject Proficiency awards were also given to a number of deserving students. The other awardees included Scholar Blazer and Scholar Badge holders for different classes. Students were also felicitated for different categories in the Affective Domain. It was a proud moment for the parents to see their wards being recognised for their commitment and hard work.
Anoushka Upperwal (Class XI) and Yuvraj Bhatnagar from class IX were awarded for qualifying in the prestigious National Level of CBSE Regional Science Exhibition. In another spectacular performance, Gopal Bansal of Class XII and Bhavya Kansal of Class X were felicitated as their innovative project based on Sub-theme IV: Ecosystem Based Approach for Self-Reliance—'Floating Artificial Lagoons and Solar Air Balloon’ got selected for the National level of National Children’s Science Congress as well as the Indian Science Congress.
Dr Nanditesh Nilay held the audience with his mesmerising address wherein he elaborated on effective parenting in today’s time. With scintillating humour he drove home the point how parents need to connect to their children very profoundly so that children see them as role models and have happy childhood.

SEE LEARNING FEST
DPSG International organized SEE Learning Fest on 10 October, 2022, in both the Online and Offline mode. SEE Learning i.e., Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning constitutes an integral and significant component of CD 2020 and the goal is to empower students to engage ethically, to provide educators with the tools to support student well-being, and most importantly, to promote human values and ethics.
To commemorate the Fest, Dr Saroj Sirohi, renowned Yogacharya, held a lecture-cum-demonstration session on various Meditation and Grounding techniques. She emphasized on the importance of keeping the mind, stress and anxiety free so that students could focus well in every sphere of their life and take up challenges with a positive mind set. The students and the staff had hands on learning from the session and had many precious takeaways from the enriching session.
In the later part of the day, Senior students of the school conducted a session for the students wherein they detailed on concepts of Self-Management, Self-Awareness, Decision making and Resilience Building and strategies of building them within the self.
Such activities always help to nurture strong and positive individuals in an anxiety driven and stress ridden world and the Vision and Mission of the school always corroborates this.
350 Participants, 30 Schools: Spontania 2022 at DPSG INTERNATIONAL
DPSG International hosted ‘Spontania 2022’ – the annual interschool competition for primary students on 20 October 2022 in the school campus. 30 schools with more than 350 participants were part of this mega event. The Theme of the Interschool Fiesta was ‘International Mindedness’ which was displayed beautifully by the performing Schools. It created an aura of ‘Unity’ and developed ‘Appreciation for Diversity’ among all individuals present at the event.
Each year, Spontania aims to provide a platform to young learners to showcase their incredibly unique talent and skills. All the eight competitions in Music, Dance, Theatre, Cookery, Art and Craft as well as Literary Arts were a fusion of imagination, creativity and presence of mind.
Mr. Rohit Pathak Director HR, DPSG Society was the Chief Guest of the Grand Fiesta. His motivational address in the Closing Ceremony motivated the participants to give their best and utilize every possible opportunity to hone skills. Our Special Guest for the occasion Ms. Abha Bansal, Spic Macay Coordinator, Ghaziabad in her opening address, urged the students to be creative and always aim for the stars.
The winners of various events were ecstatic to receive their trophies, all the students from schools across Delhi and NCR were conferred with participation certificates. The cherry on the cake was the Champions Trophy bagged by DPSG International which was passed on to the first runner up Amity International School Vasundhara and the Runner Up Trophy was bagged by Modern Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School, Faridabad.

The school organized ‘The Awesome Achievers Award Ceremony’ on 15 October, 2022 with the objective of honoring and motivating the brilliant achievers for their excellence in both the Scholastic and Foundational Domains. The programme commenced with an address by the Head of School, Ms. Soma Singh wherein she welcomed and felicitated the Special Guest Mr. Mohit Nagar, renowned educationist and social worker, Chairman Little Angels School and Traffic Inspector Santosh Singh Chauhan. She reiterated how the school provided brilliant opportunities to all the learners to excel in every walk of life and today’s award function was an occasion to applaud these talents for their scholastic excellence and the brilliant strides being made by students in showcasing the 21st century skills and competencies. A melodious song woven around the theme of persevering hearts and fearless souls, presented by the students stole all hearts. Awards were given for various categories like Exemplary Behaviour, Responsible and Committed, Library Scholar, Good Citizen, All Rounder, Maximum Attendance to name a few. The special guests complimented the students for their trail blazing performance, hard work and efforts made and also blessed them for all their future endevours. They stressed that the school was indeed making a commendable contribution in shaping these students to be responsible citizens. to the cause of service to the community and with this objective in mind it
organized a free Health Check-up Camp on the same day. A large number of parents availed the
facilities of Eye-Check-up, testing for blood sugar and blood group and
appreciated the efforts of the school in making these facilities available. The
Interact Club of the school in collaboration with Rotary Club, Noida organized
a Blood Donation Camp. A number of parents partnered with the school and came
forward for this humanitarian cause, making a substantial contribution. The
students of the Eureka Club put up a splendid Science exhibition wherein
students put up working models of robots, Hydraulic Crane, Smart City models to
name a few. It amply reflected the scientific temperament of the learning
community.
The day ended on a note of justifiable content and pride.

DPSGI has been one of the stalwarts in Comprehensive Career Counselling and Orientation Programmes for students and parents over the years. The school believes in providing not only the best learning environment but also a perfect roadmap to choose the career of a life time. Regular Career Counselling sessions by the best of Resource persons have gone a long way in helping students make informed career choices, deciding on strategies to follow their dreams and most importantly in exploring their innate strengths and building on them persistently.
The school organised a workshop University Placements on 7 September, 2022 to explore opportunities of studying in Hongkong, which has come up as one of the best international destinations for higher studies. The workshop was organised under aegis of CCUP (Career Counselling and University Placement) and Placement Plus, a special initiative by DPSG society. The Resource Person for the same was Mr. Sam H Chow, Global Engagement Manager, City University of Hongkong. Through a very comprehensive presentation, Mr. Chow detailed on the different programmes available in diverse fields like Engineering, Business, Data Science, Social Sciences and Creative media to name a few, flexible curriculum offered and strong government support to the university. He also emphasised on the fact that students can pursue dual degrees to fulfil their career goals. The presentation also focussed on availability of excellent jobs in the country, availability of accommodation, excellent faculty of international repute, scholarships and excellent research opportunities available.
The session ended with a vibrant question answer session wherein students asked a number of questions and they were answered satisfactorily by Mr. Chow.
Spontania 2021
DPSGI celebrated the Investiture Ceremony of the newly appointed Prefectorial Board on 17 July, 2021 in the online mode. The solemn and joyous occasion commenced with a warm welcome extended to the Chief Guest Mr Anshul Pathak, honorable Vice-Chairman and Treasurer, DPSG Society and Chairman, DPSGI who presided over the function , the Guest of Honour Dr Jitendra Nagpal, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist& In charge, Institute of Mental Health& Life Skills Promotion, Moolchand Medicity, New Delhi, Program Director, Expressions India and an accomplished alumnus of the school Mr Sarthak Upadhaya and the esteemed parents.
Ms Meera Mathur, Principal, DPSGI addressed the audience with her inspirational words that ensue from deep knowledge and profound commitment. Her words packed with motivation, wisdom and enthusiasm deeply moved all the listeners. Mr Anshul Pathak congratulated the young leaders and emphasized how the pandemic in spite of all the challenges it has unleashed, has also taught us so much. He reiterated on the unique vision of the school wherein an entire curriculum CD-2020 has been researched upon and designed to make learning Student Led and Enquiry Based. He congratulated the teachers as the real heroes. The motivational song, sung by the students, reiterating the role of will power and determination in scaling heights, set the tone for the morning.
Dr Jitendra Nagpal congratulated all the Student Council appointees and stressed on the fact how the day was meant to celebrate leadership. He emphasized how qualities like compassion, gratitude, caring should be nurtured by leaders so that each one of them can emerge as leaders in the 21 century and take on the world.
A mesmerizing dance performance invoking the blessings of Siddhidata Lord Ganesha was followed by the oath taking ceremony wherein the Principal administered the oath to the 78 proud office bearers and heartily congratulated and blessed them. This was followed by the announcements for various posts for the session 21-22.
It was an ecstatic day for the Prefectorial Board members wherein they were entrusted with the noble and serious responsibility of leading the student community and serving the school with utmost commitment. Parents of the newly appointed team had profound words of praise for the school. Mr Vikas

Ms S. Fraheen Hyder mother of Aliza Asif, Captain and President, Student Council complimented the efforts by the school by stating “DPSGI has given my child ample opportunities to grow, polish her skills and outshine in every situation. Despite the pandemic crisis the school made sure that students and their parents feel proud in an online ceremony. I am glad to have my child in the school which has an inspiring futuristic visions.”

The mission of a green and clean Earth inspired the Student Council and the Dexterous Hands Club to organize the first Paryavaran Panchayat in school in 2019-20 where 25 schools had participated. This second edition, a Virtual Panel Discussion on ‘Learning Sustainability from Nature’ was an effort to bring all the stakeholders together on the same platform to deliberate on the urgent need of conservation and concern for nature. Renowned leaders, scientists, environmentalists and educationists were a part of the discussion.
Everyone agreed that it is our shared responsibility to strike a balance between our short-term and long-term interests to leave behind a clean and beautiful home for our children. We are only the ephemeral guardians of this treasure-trove, whose future guardians are waiting.
DPSGI has been persistently conducting very enriching, informative and interactive career guidance and counselling sessions right from the onset of the new session in an earnest endeavour to guide and support children, to keep up their upbeat spirit in these uncertain times and help them understand and act on what they ought to act upon.
The school conducted a very informative and empowering session on the topic ‘Strategic Planning and Road Map Ahead’ on 26 May, 2021 for the students of class XII. The session was conducted by Mr. Prikshit Dhanda an alumnus from Harvard University and the Chief Strategy officer and renowned life & Career Coach at Mindler. To begin with a warm welcome was extended to the Resource Person and Ms Vaishnavi- a representative from Mindler.
Mr Dhanda initiated the much-needed interaction by wanting to know from students on Four to Five things they feel they are supposed to accomplish this year. Based on very interesting inputs shared by students, very systematically, he dwelt upon four crucial areas they need to focus and work upon immediately. He elaborated on how absolute clarity in Goal Setting is the crux of the whole matter. Breaking this idea into parts, he emphasised on how students need to ensure that they get admission in good colleges and institutions of their choice next year, they must secure good marks in their CBSE Board Examination, they will have to crack the Entrance Exams as applicable, they need to successfully clear the Aptitude Tests and be ready with their Profile Analysis for Profile Based admission.
With razor sharp precision he detailed upon the strategies children should use to accomplish these goals. The highlights were, the importance of taking Internal Examination conducted by the school seriously and performing well in them, time management in preparing for Entrance Exams vs CBSE Board Examination, clarity on the path to be taken for preparations and college admissions, strategies to strike the right balance between CBSE and Entrance exams and ways to ensure Physical, Mental and Emotional well-being of students.
He guided the students to take the Career Assessment offered by Mindler before 30 June, 2021 and utilize each and every feature offered by Mindler be it Entrance Exam Tracker, Scholarship and Financial Aid or online Practice Material available. This was followed by a very vibrant Question- Answer session wherein the queries put up by the students were comprehensively answered by Ms Dhanda.
The session ended with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms Nidhi Narayan, Senior Co-Ordinator.
The world may be fraught with unprecedented consequences due to the pandemic but DPSGI has been relentlessly supporting, guiding, empowering and creating best of opportunities for its students so that they can tide over these trying times and emerge as champions in the times to come. Regular Career Counselling sessions by the best of Resource persons in Mindler have gone a long way in helping students make informed career choices, deciding on strategies to follow their dreams and most importantly in exploring their innate strengths and building on them persistently.
Keeping in mind the needs of students of class XII (2020-21), whose CBSE Board exam and other national level entrance exams got postponed, the school conducted an invaluable session titled ‘How to utilise the next few months’ on 19 May’21 at 11 am in the online mode. Mr Prikshit Dhanda, a leading Life Coach and Motivational Speaker, professionally trained by Harvard University was the resource person. Ms Vaishnavi Chadda also a professional from Mindler was a part of the session.
The session commenced with a warm welcome extended by the school Principal Ms Meera Mathur to the Resource persons and the students. She emphasized on how difficult the year has been for all students but particularly for this batch it being the last year of their schooling where life had to be all happening and vibrant in the lush green school play fields and classrooms. The school has done a commendable job in keeping them motivated and yet it is time again to dust off the cobwebs and get going in these critical times since the most crucial task for them to get the best of admissions to colleges still remains.
