The much-awaited interactive and inspiring session with the Hon’ble Prime Minister,‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ on 7 April 2021 was appreciated by students, teachers and parents alike.
This pandemic year was stressful to all, especially students appearing for Class X and XII Board Exams.
The children hung on to each word said by the PM, hugely benefiting from the guidelines and strategies shared by him on how to beat exam stress and perform well in the upcoming Board Exams.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged parents to work towards reducing the generation gap, stay connected with their children and strengthen the emotional bonds in the family.

Open House and Orientation Session
DPSGI marked the end of yet another illustrious session (2020-2021) and welcomed a promising one keeping in purview the lofty vision and mission of the school that leads the realm of the education world in shaping 21st century learners. 12th March morning saw the school premises abuzz with parents and students participating in a very interactive Open House Session wherein the parents and students had vibrant discussions and constructive interactions with teachers, the Headmistress, Co-coordinators and the Principal. A 90% turnout of parents in the Open House was extremely encouraging and rewarding particularly in the post Covid times when most schools are still reeling under absenteeism. Achievements were warmly appreciated, hard work put in by students lauded and children motivated to keep the flag of the school flying high. This was followed by an online Orientation Session conducted by school Principal Ms Meera Mathur for the parents of students just promoted to grades X and XII.
The Principal encapsulated the highlights of the session 2020-21, the brilliant class X and XII Board results, CBSE mandate for classes X and XII, salient features of latest DPSGS Curriculum Design- CD 2020. The Principal emphasized on the DPSGI vision and mission of Student Led and Inquiry based approach wherein the learner is at the centre of all transactions. She also emphasized on the Bridge sessions that have been designed by the school for grades X and XII students, at the onset of the session, so that the appropriate connect can be made between the rationalized syllabus designed by CBSE in the year 2020 and the erstwhile syllabus. Wonderful and comprehensive strategies for scoring well in exams and key points of providing invaluable parental support were shared by her which left the audience informed and empowered.
The parents and students are ready to embrace a meaningful and invaluable new academic session with a conviction that all is well and the best is there to definitely happen.

The annual event *Festinobeats and Baby show Pan- India 2021 * for the little ones was conducted online this time. Delhi Public School Ghaziabad International achieved yet another milestone by successfully organizing the first virtual Student Led Conference through the platform of Microsoft Teams on 31 January,2020.
The school believes in bringing the students, parents and teacher together to monitor the learning process. SLC provides powerful opportunities for students to advocate their own learning. We witnessed unparalleled excitement of the student as they guided their parents through their academic and co-curricular learning journey.
The Head of the School Ms.Meera Mathur inaugurated the conference and addressed the students and parents by appreciating the efforts and learning of the students. In her address she thanked parents by saying “being here and sparing time for this occasion is an expression of your commitment to your child’s journey, thank you for being here”.
During the conference, each student led their parent through the virtual learning during the session 2020-21. The conference proved to be extremely informative for parents as they saw their child’s learning portfolio.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Headmistress Ms. Soma Singh.


The morning of 19 December, 2020 reverberated with joyous celebration, jubilation, pride and a justifiable sense of accomplishment as DPSGI celebrated The Annual Scholar Badge Ceremony- Honours to the Scholars, in the online mode.
The function commenced with the welcoming of the esteemed Guest of Honour Dr. Nanditesh Nilay, a renowned author, a columnist and a value coach of high repute as well as the parents, students and the teachers.
A vibrant invocation dance dedicated to goddess Durga was presented by students to mark the auspicious beginning of this special day. This was followed by a welcome address by the Principal Ms. Meera Mathur who applauded the students for their brilliant achievements, and congratulated them for their diligence, hard work and perseverance. She appreciated the efforts of the teachers for the invaluable guidance and scaffolding provided by them. She also shared the distinguished achievements of the school which makes DPSGI one of the most prestigious schools. Next a mellifluous inspirational song was sung by the students to initiate the award ceremony. The felicitation began with the Scholastic domain wherein the AISSCE school topper, stream and subject proficiency toppers were awarded. This was followed by honouring the class X achievers and the Scholar Badge awardees in various categories for different classes.
Next, the proud winners of the Affective Domain from different classes for categories like ‘The Most Creative Child’, ‘The Most Helpful Child’, ‘Good Citizenship and Inspiration’, ‘Most Responsible and Committed’ to name a few, were awarded. It again reiterated the school’s vision and mission to nurture and reward the values, dispositions, skills and competencies of a 21st century learner.
The Guest of Honour Dr. Nanditesh Nilay appreciated the exemplary vision and concerted efforts of the school principal and her team. He specially commended the school for awarding children for their attitudes, beliefs and convictions since that is what makes a good, all rounded human being. He also lauded the proud achievers and their parents. He urged the parents to become ‘meaningful’ not just ‘useful’ and ‘resourceful’ and appreciate their children so that children don’t end up being part of a rat race where material gains are supreme.
The ceremony ended with Ms. Nidhi Narayan, Senior Wing Co-ordinator, proposing the Vote of Thanks.

Career Conselling Session on Liberal Arts
DPSGI has been engaging students intensely throughout the session in Career Counselling and Career Guidance programmes in an endevour to enable students to make informed career choices.
On 9 December, 2020 a ‘Career Counselling Session on Liberal Arts’ was conducted by Ms Shilpa Singh, Head of Student Engagement Cell at Mindler. Ms. Shilpa gave a comprehensive presentation of Liberal Arts as a discipline to be pursued, its aims and objectives and the career options available. She emphasized on the fact how different subjects from diverse disciplines can be studied under this programme and how it builds on multiple perspectives, a sound knowledge base and develops much sought-after skills like Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Soft Skills. She discussed in detail about the Liberal Arts Curriculum, colleges in India and abroad that offer this programme, the application process, admission criteria and the different areas that students of classes X, XI and XII need to work upon in order to apply for this course. Principal Ms Meera Mathur gave valuable inputs in course of this discussion and encouraged children to delve deeper into this option. Students asked a number of questions and their queries were answered by the Principal and Ms. Shilpa.
The session ended with a briefing on the Mindler’s Scholarship Hunt wherein Ms. Vaishnavi shared the details of registration and application process for the same.

Career Conselling

DPSG International has a robust plan for career guidance and counselling throughout the session, for classes IX-XII.
The online session on Career Counselling was conducted for the students of classes X to XII by one of the leading career counselors of the country on 28th October, 2020.
Ms. Shilpa Singh, Head Student Engagement at Mindler, packing over 22 years of incredible work experience, conducted a very informative and interactive session where children were introduced to the Domain Wise Career Awareness: Combination with Each stream. The students were acquainted with the wide variety of career options within each stream. The students took part enthusiastically and it was a very enlightening session.
This workshop will be followed by the discussion of the psychometric assessments for classes IX-XII.

DPSG International virtually hosted ‘Spontania 2020’ – the annual interschool competition for primary students on 24 September 2020 via Microsoft Teams. 18 schools with 250 participants were part of this mega event. A magnificent Felicitation Ceremony was organized at DPSG International to honour our stars— CBSE toppers of X and XII, Parents and Alumni.

The Principal, Ms. Meera Mathur honoured the Alumni and all the Toppers with personalized Scrolls. They shared their success stories, the journey to the top, the hiccups on the way and the final victory. They also shared anecdotes from their journey in the school and the useful strategies to score well in the exams.

The panel discussion was followed by a very enthusiastic, informative and interesting open forum for discussion.

Juniors posed queries in the interactive session that followed and received valuable inputs and advice from their older ‘bhaiyas and didis’.

It was really heart-warming to hear how the children shared their love for the school, and their teachers who supported them always. All of them extended a special thank you to their beloved Principal, for having faith in them and bringing a positive change in their attitude. The event was live streamed on Facebook and YouTube too.


The Principal Ms. Meera Mathur was the key speaker at the Edu Leader Virtual Summit 2020 on 22 July '20. Joining other eminent educationists to deliberate and share best practices for empowering the school education system, she dwelt on the topic, “Blended Learning is the Future of Education”. The Principal proudly showcased how, we at DPSG International, adapted to the changing demand of skills and the digital revolution to triumph with our personalized version of Blended Learning, successfully incorporating not only academics, but also Visual and Performing Arts, Yoga, Physical Training, Citizenship Studies, E- MUN , E- Assessments and Online PTMs.


In her keynote address the Principal, Ms Meera Mathur, welcomed the students, parents, Ms Shilpa Singh a leading Life Skills trainer and an accomplished career coach with over 25 years’ experience. She also welcomed Mr Prikshit Dhanda an alumnus of Harvard University and a motivational speaker and life coach.

The Principal reiterated students should make an informed choice of streams and subjects based on their passion and inner calling so that their career becomes a source of joy and lifelong satisfaction. The students were guided upon the mantra that choices made should be guided by interest, strength and aptitude.

Ms Singh transacted a very informative and detailed session on the various streams available like Science (PCM and PCB), Commerce and Humanities. The fascinating and trending career options available with the Science stream like Aviation, Architecture and Town planning, Ethical Hacking, Product Design etc were detailed upon. Options under PCB and PCM and PCB taken together were also discussed. Aspirants for the Commerce stream learnt about not-so-heard about options like Supply Chain Management and Big Data Analysis. Options like Archaeology, International Relations and Musicology were explored for takers of the Humanities stream.

The second part of the session comprised a Question Answer round wherein FAQ’s by students were answered by both the experts. The parents and students appreciated DPSG international’s constant effort to give comprehensive information through the online mode.


The Graduation Day ceremony was organized for the students of Prep and Grade 5 to celebrate their transition to the primary and secondary wing.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Naresh Kumar, SHO Masuri, Ms. Meenu Bhargava, a renowned psychologist, Ms. Reena Chauhan, owner Natkhat The Play School . Alumni Ujjwal Goel & Mr. Aman Garg, special guests reminisced about the time they spent in the school and how it has helped in shaping their future. The students of Prep and Grade 5 dressed in graduation robes and caps marched up to receive their scrolls and shared their journey of PYP years with aplomb. The students of Grade 4 set the stage alight with a power packed presentation of the Greek play-‘The Myth of Seasons’.

ESSFA DAY – 2020

The school organized its Annual Sports Day – ESSFA -2020 which was the culmination of the yearly sports calendar. Field displays, PT Drill and Parents fun races marked the celebrations. Principal Mrs. Meera Mathur extended a formal welcome to the esteemed guests and parents and stressed on the need to develop endurance, stamina, speed, flexibility and agility in children through sports events.

The march past of the NCC girl cadets was followed by the torch lighting and oath taking ceremony. Chief Guest Ms. Asha Sharma, Mayor Ghaziabad distributed jute bags to students as symbol of the DPSG Society’s commitment to the cause of “Say No To Plastic’. Ms. Pinki Balhara and Mr. Nitesh Balhara stalwarts in the field of judo and Kurash graced the occasion.

VAPS 2019

Annual day is the day when we not only showcase our academic excellence but also unleash the vibrant energy and creativeness of the children. The Junior Wing Annual Function ‘Wonder in Aliceland’ was a journey into the world of children’s dream, full of toys, toffees and chocolates. The students presented a wonder world of imagination and emotions through theatre, dance and music.

The senior wing annual function took us to the spiritual world through the presentation of life of Lord Hanuman. Beautiful Dances and props added to the impact of the learnings of the wonderful theme. The unique setting combined with the splendid efforts made the parents glow with the pride.

CBSE North Zone Yoga Championship

DPSG International hosted the CBSE North Zone Yoga Championship in which 1100 students from 138 schools of the North Zone displayed their yoga skills and competed against each other to win a place in the National event. The event commenced with a Ganesh shlok recital followed by an invocation dance. The Principal Ms. Meera Mathur felicitated and welcomed the chief guest Sh. Pawan Sinha with an eco-friendly bouquet. CBSE Observer Mr. Gaurav Rai and Mr. Tarak Nath CBSE Technical official were also felicitated by the Principal.


DPSG International hosted the District Level 27th National Children’s Science Congress in its verdant environs. The event was open to all public, DIOS and BSA schools of Ghaziabad district. 200 participants from 32 schools presented 82 projects and models on the focal theme Science Technology and Innovation for Clean, Green and Healthy Nation.

Our school project under the sub theme Waste to Wealth made by Aditri Narula and Parmeet Kaur was selected to participate in the State Level Competition of NCSC.

After qualifying for state level, Aditri Narula went to Gorakhpur to participate and present their idea , Among 350 participants coming from all over the state of Uttar Pradesh she is among the 42 participants ( 12 from junior category and 30 from senior category) to be qualified for national level.

CBSE Regional Science Exhibition

The prestigious CBSE Regional Science Exhibition hosted by DPSG International Dasna began at the school premises on 29 Jan’19. The expo is organized by CBSE and over 96 schools from different areas of the Dehradun region are participating in the two-day event where 150 innovative and scientific projects and models are being displayed.

During the inaugural ceremony chief guest Mr. Chandra Shekhar Pandey, Human Capital Consultant, who is a leading personality in the field of Education Operations and a Penna Certified Global Leader was accorded a formal welcome by the Principal Mrs. Meera Mathur.
