On 8th January 2025, under the esteemed EFS (Educators for the Future School) program, DPSG Sushant Lok proudly hosted an inspiring session led by the Chairman of the Haryana Cluster, Mr Anshul Pathak.

🎓Trainee teachers selected across the DPSG Society branches, including DPSG Sushant Lok, DPSG Faridabad and DPSG Palam Vihar, came together for this significant event. The trainees have been deputed across various branches to embark on their professional journeys.

🏫 In this thoughtfully planned gathering, the Chairman himself took the initiative to organize an introductory session to welcome the trainees, followed by a delightful lunch. The event fostered a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration among the mentors and mentees.

✨ The Chairman’s motivational address focused on nurturing excellence in education. He encouraged the trainees with these inspiring words: At the culmination of this journey, aspire to grow into better educators who inspire and shape the future.

DPSG Sushant Lok proudly hosted ABHIVYAKTI, featuring a series of exciting events such as Choral Recitation, Costume Parade, Crafting National Symbols and Canvas of Creativity for Seniors.

The event was a tremendous success, with enthusiastic participation from all schools. We were honored to have students, teachers, school owners and parents contribute to the vibrant and joyful atmosphere.

Guidance plays a pivotal role in steering a student's career trajectory, and our respected Principal, Mrs. Ruchi Bhatia orchestrated an invaluable opportunity for Grades IX-XII students of DPSG Sushant Lok and Palam Vihar branch by organizing a personal branding workshop under CCUP department on August 8, 2024, in the school auditorium of DPSG Sushant Lok.

The primary objective of the workshop was to educate the students on the concept of personal branding and provide them with the tools and strategies to develop and enhance their personal brand for future professional opportunities.

The session was conducted by Mr. Parag Goswami, Assistant Professor at Pearl Academy accompanied by Mr. Krishnan.

Mr. Parag opened the workshop with a brief explanation of personal branding and its relevance in both professional and personal contexts. The goals of the workshop were outlined, emphasizing the practical outcomes for students.

In line with the vision of a cleaner and greener India, students of DPSG Sushant Lok actively participated in the Swachh Bharat Campaign on 2nd October 2024, commemorating the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The day began with an inspiring rally where our students enthusiastically spread awareness about cleanliness, carrying posters and raising slogans for a cleaner environment. To further contribute to the environment, a plantation drive was conducted within the school premises, where students planted saplings, promoting sustainability and a greener future. 

Students also engaged in a creative poster-making session, beautifully showcasing their ideas about cleanliness and responsibility. Their talent and commitment to the cause were truly commendable!

In honor of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, a special session was held, highlighting their contributions to India's independence and their emphasis on cleanliness and simplicity. It was followed by a movie screening that reflected Gandhiji's philosophy, inspiring students to adopt these principles in their daily lives. Through these activities, our learners took a step closer to contributing to a cleaner India while remembering the values of our great leaders.

Through their collective efforts and determination, the students of DPSG Sushant Lok not only celebrated the legacies of Gandhiji and Shastriji but also pledged to be torchbearers of change, working towards a cleaner, greener India for generations to come.

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Basant Panchami is the festival that celebrates the birth of the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, Maa Saraswati. It also marks the onset of the season of spring. To make the occasion more special and glorious, the young learners of the Primary Wing of DPSG Sushant Lok participated in the Rangoli Making Activity organised as a part of the celebrations. The students were thrilled to participate in it. The teacher shared a few ideas to boost the imagination of the little ones who came up with beautiful designs of rangoli. They decorated their rangolis with colourful flower petals. Few students also used paints and other colours to beautify their rangoli designs.

The First day of school has to be full of amusement and excitement to ease off anxiety and nervousness associated with school, studies, teachers, and new surroundings. A fun filled day is very essential to set pace for the new session.

Icebreakers come handy when it comes to fostering a productive learning environment for learners and building meaningful relationships among them. Some interesting ice-breaking activities were conducted in all the grades from Pre-Nursery to grade XII on the first day of the session 2022-23. The students could be seen participating and enjoying the teamwork and building camaraderie.
