DPSG SL believes in inculcating values along with the overall development of students and hence we encourage our young learners to connect with the outside world and develop a sense of responsibility towards society.Under the ‘Milan Partnership Programme’, fifteen students of class IV and five students of class V of Government Model Sanskriti Primary School visited DPSG, Sushant Lok on 6 March 2019.The students felt excited to see the colourful Play area, Splash Pool, Open Air theatre, well equipped Bio and Chemistry Labs, well-lit and spacious classrooms of primary wing. The students were exhilarated to see science come alive in the 3D Lab which also left an indelible impression on their learning. They also visited medical room and were excited to get their medical check up done.The students were wonderstruck to see the huge indoor badminton court where they got an opportunity to show their badminton skills. The ostentatious and spectacular display of art-craft work and paintings fascinated the students and teachers. The students also had a hand on activity with the Primary teachers of DPSG, Sushant Lok on Adjectives. They had a gala time playing ‘Stone paper scissors’. It was a true learning experience and indeed a memorable day for the children.
If you cut a tree you kill a life, if you save a tree you save a life, but if you plant a tree you plant a life.Today the world is facing environmental problems. Global warming, ozone depletion and pollution are burning issues. Solution to these problems lies in planting more trees.In keeping with the green spirit of monsoon and giving unstinted support to the Haryana government's initiative to plant more and more trees, students of DPSG Sushant Lok took initiative to plant saplings in the Green belt area opposite Gold souk, Sushant Lok, Gurugram to espouse environmental causes. School student's council along with school principal and parents enthusiastically planted saplings of perennial trees. The tree plantation drive was truly a learning experience for all the students.
