"India is the cradle for human race, birthplace of human speech, mother of history, grandmother of legend and great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and instructive materials in the history are treasured here.
It is seemingly impossible to amass India’s greatness into words. The primary wing of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Vasundhara celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebrations included a Special Assembly by class 4 Tulip, an Inter Class Rangoli competition for classes 4 and 5 and designing Portfolios of different states. The students decorated the classes with the state specific handicrafts, wore attractive costumes of their respective states and relished the famous dishes of different states.
सारे जहाँ से अच्छा हिन्दोस्तान हमारा…”
is a line which enhances the patriotism in every Indian to the next level. Students of classes II and III have shown their high level of Patriotism , love and respect for their country by showcasing a wonderful presentation on Incredible India on 16th August, where they represented different states of our country.
The arena and the corridor of classes II and III turned up into mini-India. A festivity and happiness of brotherhood and belongingness could be seen into the eyes of the young ones, when they were describing about the richness of culture, languages, costume, tradition, mouthwatering delicacies etc. of their respective state. Soon they could strengthen the concept of UNITY IN DIVERSITY when they took a Galley Walk along with their teachers.

We live in a world where everything is connected. We can no longer think in terms of us and them when it comes to the consequences of the way we live. Today it's all about WE.”
