10th Paridarshika Event

DPSGV achieved yet another feat by hosting a mega Inter-school online photography event- PARIDARSHIKA- 2020 in which over 240 participants from 14 schools with close to 989 images participated.

The event was adorned with esteemed Guests of Honour & judges for the day, Mr Ranjan Sharma, who is an early adopter of technology and among the few pioneers who switched on to Digital photography in 1997 and today specialises in Interior, Architecture, Industrial & Gigapixel 360° panoramic photography.

And we had Mr Tirtha Das Gupta, whose work has been exhibited in National & International salons which has won him more than 800 acceptances & awards, like Sahitya kala parishad by govt of Delhi. There was ample platform to display one's talent thro' categories like: Nature, Portrait, Macro, Light, Abstract, Table top and Still photography. The students got a chance to interact with the guests and they fielded the questions with their expertise and experience. The students were left awe-inspired and wanting for more.

The Principal, Mr Trilok Singh Bist, not only appreciated the participants but congratulated their schools who encourage students to hone their skills on such platforms. Ms Ritu Sehgal, Headmistress, Sr. Wing, gave a vote of thanks and culminated by quoting the judges to teach children 'failure' so that success can be the sweetest.
