77th Independence Day celebration

ना पूछो ज़माने को, क्या हमारी कहानी है
हमारी पहचान तो सिर्फ़ ये है, कि हम हिंदुस्तानी हैं।
DPSGV celebrated the 77th Independence Day. The primary objective was to instill nationalism and solidarity in its young learners.
Truly said by Nelson Mandela - For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.
A legion of creative and engaging activities brought home the same message which centred around India of my Dreams, which reflected the myriad colours of the different states of India, the folk music resounding the corridors, an array of tricolour food items, poster designs.
The proud NCC cadets lead a Flag March emphasizing the Swachhata Abhiyan and culminating with a musical score - Saare Jahan se Achcha...
The School captains and the Principal urged everyone, in unison, to find a deep sense of patriotism, unity and pride in whatever little things they do.
It is important that the young adults learn to have faith and believe in each other beyond prejudice just like a real family.
