Leadership Camp

1st Student Council Leadership Program! ❤

The First batch of Student Council Leadership Program kicked on 14th June. 57 Student leaders across 7 schools have congregated at Selaqui International School looking forward to learning, experiencing, sharing and celebrating the hidden leader in them.

The Student leaders have a common platform to develop a shared understanding of what entails to be a good leader and the nuances which differentiates a good leader from a great one. By the end of the program, each student will be put to test physically as well as mentally under different situations to hone their skills so that they can lead their schools to newer heights.

At DPSGV, we believe in the holistic growth of a child and our endeavor is to provide a structured opportunity for children to grow. The program offers fun filled adventure activities, allowing kids to become independent and self-confident, while socializing and making new friends. It encourages team-work and co-ordination among the members of a team.

On 21st of February 2019, the students of classes 2&3, embarked on a joyful journey to Camp Muddy Boots, Greater Noida, where the Rocksport Program was organized for the little ones.

The Program was a great initiative taken up by DPSGV, to help the young kids explore their potential while pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones. It also helped in heightening their emotional quotient as they became more self-aware and sensitive to their environment. It was an attempt to equip the children with real world skills, while their activities were closely monitored by highly professional trainers.

The energy and commitment displayed by the students was a treat to watch as was the camaraderie and motivation that they gave each other while attempting each activity. The excitement of children was palpable as each one tried to attempt all the activities, be it ‘Horse Hurdle’, Zorbing, ‘Zip line’ or ‘Tug Of War’ and many more.

The shining joyous faces of the children showed that the program was more than a success.
