A week of grand celebrations at DPSG Palam Vihar

BY ADMIN PUBLISHED May 1, 2023, UPDATED May 9, 2023

The last week of April wasn’t just a normal week for DPSG Palam Vihar. It was a celebration of mother earth by the environmental crusaders of the school. World Earth Day 2023 was celebrated under the theme of “Invest in our Planet” which was a 7-day long event.

The week kickstarted with a series of events like Slogan Writing Competition, Painting Competition, Model Making Competition, and Skit. The motive behind these events was to create awareness on a sustainable environment.

A fair number of students participated in different competitions and showcased sheer artistry and awareness towards planet earth. Our hearts were full of glee watching them create such a deep and meaningful display of art.

But hold up! That’s not it. Our ninjas didn’t stop at these events only. The whole DPSG Palam Vihar family got together and did a tree plantation drive inside the school’s vicinity to make the outdoors more environmentally friendly and easy on the eyes.

The week concluded with a culmination of Earth Day celebrations, DPSG Cup, and swimming pool launch. More than 1000 parents and students from schools of Gurugram congregated at DPSG Palam Vihar to witness such a grand sight.

Besides Earth Day, students and parents were super excited to see the launch of the swimming pool which will be open to the public during the evening hours and witness the last day of DPSG Cup which was the biggest sports celebration of India.
