Do Violent Video Games Make People More Violent In Real Life?

In this fast-paced modern era, almost everything under the sun has become advanced.
Even developers have made video games upgraded with new technologies and have created a great impact. A recent study suggests that playing video games improves hand and eye dexterity, problem-solving ability, and quick decision-making skills.
Yes, video games have it’s own advantages however we need to understand the other side of the coin – video games hampers social interaction, physical inactivity which will lead to health problems and lots of studies mentions that violent videos induce violent behavior.
Does playing violent video games cause a person to act violently?
Recently, President Donald Trump said during a White House meeting on school safety that the Nation needs to address what young people are seeing.
“I’m hearing more and more people saying the level of violence in video games is really shaping young people’s thoughts,”
There are lots of scientific research backed by nurture philosophy that states ‘our environment influences our thoughts and actions’.

Recent shootings and suicides of young minds were primarily attributed to high exposure to violent video games. Having said that no court in the world have concluded that violent video induces violent behavior in young minds.
These video game developers target young vibrant people as their targeted audience and hence necessary regulations should be in place to advocate for minimum age requirements, reduction of violent graphics in video games.
There should be a common agency to rate such video games and the ratings should be made public and this will allow parents to take an informed decision. Parents should exercise moderation with their kids in playing such video games.
