It is the school bus driver. Seldom are the school drivers given any credit for the work they do every day, without fail. Their day starts more early than a student. Every day, they bring in school kids from their home to the school, keeping the time in mind, being punctual.
Over the course of time, the role of a school bus driver has changed now. Being a guide for the students from home to school and back home was a role in the past of a school bus driver. Now, they are the most important person in a student’s life. For being a trained and professional driver, they often come useful in more than once occasion.

School bus driver plays a vital role in the school. Not only do they take students school and home but also take them to field trips conducted by the schools. One of the important parts of the driver is that during the commencement of the new session at the school, drivers provide orientation to the students. They explain students about the procedures and the mode of operation of the school, giving them a proper idea of how does a school really function.

– Drivers act as the link between the school and the students outside of the school campus. A driver keeps a record and informs on students behavior on the bus. This way a school’s reputation is kept intact as the school is able to take disciplinary actions if required.
– Since, drivers are the first line of defense, at any grave situation; they act as a security of all the students outside of the campus. Student’s life depends on how the driver conducts himself while driving the bus.
– Drivers have driven these students on the same route over the course of time. Therefore, drivers actually know more about a student than the teacher. It helps to get a better understanding of a student’s behavior from a driver’s perspective on few cases when in need.
– Since a driver’s network runs deeply in a society, his conduct of behavior is extremely important as well; it reflects the virtues of the school administration in the public eyes.
