Social media is indeed a boon.
I think perhaps the greatest gift of all times by the IT sector has been the development of an effective communication system popularly known as the social media.
Social media – A path to bring change?
Social media has become a catalyst to change, to serve the continuous thirst for development, upliftment, and connection. Social media sparks a revelation that we the people have a voice, and through the democratization of content and ideas, we can once again unite around common passions, inspire movements and ignite change.
Nowadays, social media isn’t merely an outlet to connect with people, but a has also become a phenomenal platform for voicing opinions, conducting research and have access to the global exposure at the click of a mouse.
Social media has erased boundaries. It keeps us well informed not only about the happenings within the territorial land but also beyond it, making the world a global market.
Instead of B2B or B2C its P2P now, that is people to people! This is indeed what our honorable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi envisions about India as a digital territory where everything from transactions and processes is done via online media. On the citizen’s part, this means actively engaging in the digitalized economy by increasing our awareness levels about social media.
Recently in the flooded North Houston, a family pleaded for help by posting an emergency on facebook. Isn’t social media then the fastest and most effective means of communication!
