Dear Students, Parents and Staff,
DPSG Schools are amongst the most preferred schools in the National Capital Region and it manifests in the ever increasing number of admission requests. The embedded challenge therein is; as to how do we, as a role model in school education, journey beyond being the best in region to leading and inspiring others, while continuously improving our own practices and student learning outcomes.
Reinventing DPSG schools along several dimensions is our response. We will work closely with families and the community by involving them in pursuit of excellence for their wards so that school and parents together are able to imbue attitudes, skills and values in each of its students so that they succeed not only in leading a good life but also in the profession or career they chose.
As a part of our Community Connect program, perhaps the first of its kind by any school ever, we plan to build an international convention cum sports centre, a fora where all stakeholders will come together to support the educational and developmental effort of our students. Amongst several measures, it would provide our own students with the best in class sports, fine arts and performing arts facilities, and would also be open to parents and grandparents. The project being very large in size and range would require your support and participation in every sense of the term.
International curriculum, of late, has been of interest to us all. DPSG society is seriously considering introduction of International Baccalaureate programs at all levels; PYP [Primary Years Program - Class I to V], MYP [Middle Years Program - Class VI to X] and Diploma Program at class XI-XII level.
At another level, DPSG is now reaching out to children in government schools. In doing so, DPSG schools in Ghaziabad will adopt schools and provide them guidance, assistance and resources so that their students’ learning outcomes improve. While DPSG Society shall provide substantial funds and effort for such community outreach programs, I would appeal to all parents, teachers and students and the alumni to volunteer help, in whatever manner they can.
I would thank all parents, staff and students and everyone else who helped us at every step in building DPSG a very strong brand synonymous with all round excellence.
My best wishes to the Principal, students, parents, grandparents, teachers and staff.
Om Pathak - Chairman, DPSG Society
