DPSG International congratulates its budding scientists, Ambuj Chauhan class VII for the Project ‘Smart Irrigation System’ and Avika Garg Class VII for ‘Anti-Theft Electric Meter’ which bagged the prestigious INSPIRE Award 2025-26.
INSPIRE award is Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) a scheme which is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India and awards an amount of Rs 10,000 for development of the project for higher levels.
The projects emerge as a beacon of innovation, addressing both environmental and economic concerns and embody a promising pathway towards a more sustainable and responsible future under the mentorship of their teacher Ms. Geeta Goel.

Ambuj Chauhan’s Project, The Arduino-Based Smart Irrigation System is an automated solution for watering plants. It uses a soil moisture sensor to detect when the soil is dry and then activates a water pump. An LCD screen displays real-time information like moisture level and system status.
Avika Garg’s Project Anti-Theft Electric Meter that detects illegal wire connections automatically and Sends alert (buzzer or SMS) when power theft is happening. It also cuts off electricity to that connection temporarily and records the data for the later use.

IPS DEBATE COMPETITION
The mega Interschool Debate competition held at DPSG Meerut Road was an enriching and inspiring experience for all participants. The event provided students with an opportunity not only to present their viewpoints on the thought-provoking topic “Disarmament is a Noble
Dream Preached by Idealists†but also to listen to a wide spectrum of perspectives from other talented speakers.
Participants spoke their points with great confidence, presenting well-researched arguments and engaging the audience with clarity and conviction. The quality of speeches was so high that the judges had a challenging time deciding the winners, reflecting the remarkable talent and preparation of all speakers.
Speaking on such a significant global issue enabled students to dive deeper into the complexities of peace, security, and political realities. The lively exchange of arguments sharpened their thinking, boosted their confidence, and taught them the importance of framing ideas logically while respecting opposing views.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm, and interactions with students from other schools fostered a healthy spirit of competition and camaraderie. The event was not just about winning but about understanding how to express oneself effectively and persuasively.
Nandika Upadhyay and Ananya Garg from grade XII spoke for and against the motion, Anikait Kapoor of grade IX was the Interjector.
Overall, the debate served as a valuable platform for intellectual growth and public speaking skills, leaving participants more confident, informed, and inspired to take part in future events.

Excellence in Skating
Prince Malik of Class XI C secured 2nd and 3rd Place respectively in 500m and DTT(Dual Time Trial) races in Legend Cup 2024 Battle among the Legends organized by UPRSA (Uttar Pradesh Roller Sports Association) from 23 to 25 August 2024 at Greno Speed Skating Rink, Greater Noida. Around 350 participants were there from all over the UP.

AN INSPIRAING JOURNY TO THE TOP
DPSG International stands tall and proud yet again as Aditri Narula, the Class XII CBSE topper with a stupendous 99.25% is awarded with the prestigious 'Medhavi Chhatra Samman' from our Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Adityanath Yogi at a star-studded event at Lok Bhawan, Lucknow. Aditri had also been the Joint Country Topper in Class X with 99.8% marks. Academically very bright, Aditri has been a scholar for 6 consecutive years. As a School Captain she displayed remarkable Leadership skills too.
Aditri has been part of the school Interact Club for the last 3 years, heading projects like 'Plants Against Pollution' accompanied by a very successful plantation drive. She has been actively involved in awareness campaigns for Vaccination and Plasma Donation during the second wave of the pandemic. Recently, she has been appointed Zonal Interact Representative (ZIR), District 3012 for the Rotary year 2021-22. She has also represented the school at the national level of National Children's Science Congress in 2019.

Students from DPSG International outshines in National Children's Science Congress 2022-2023
The State level project presentation of National Children's Science Congress was organized at MIEET University in Meerut wherein students selected from all schools across Western Uttar Pradesh participated with enthusiasm and zeal. A total of 190 projects and Research papers were presented in the exhibition and 21 Research projects were selected for presentation at Ahmedabad for the National Level exhibition and selection in January 2023.Young scientists, Gopal Bansal of class XII and Bhavya Kansal of class XI from DPSG International made the school proud as their Project and Research Paper on Floating Artificial Lagoon and Solar Air Balloon under the mentorship of their teacher Ms. Anju Rani Kapil, is one among the projects selected for the National level. It is commendable that Bhavya Kansal has also been selected to represent entire Western Uttar Pradesh in National Science Congress to be held in Nagpur in January, 2023, a first selection of its kind in the history of Uttar Pradesh.
The dignitaries present on the prestigious occasion highly appreciated the talent and efforts of the budding scientists and said that their scientific temper, spirit of Inquiry and hard work would benefit society in a big way.

DPSG INTERNATIONAL HONOURED WITH PRESTIGIOUS ‘CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE AWARD'
DPSGI, Ghaziabad was awarded the 'Climate Action Project School of Excellence Award' for its intense work on climate education in a whole-school approach.
The recognition was awarded by Cartoon Network Climate Champions and Climate Action Project. The selected 250 Climate Action Project Schools of Excellence were announced on 4 November , 2021 during Climate Action Day, an annual online live event attended by 2,50,000 people globally. The school submitted the projects worked on for the last 1 year in order to meet the extensive criteria for selection.
The event speakers included HRM Prince William, Rick Davis from NASA, Juan Pablo Celis Garcia of UN Environment Programme , other world leaders, climate scientists and activists.
The school was rewarded for its commitment towards the Climate Education and to honour the school's "Green Warriors'. Kudos to the project incharge, Ms. Rashmi and her committed students!

DPSGI congratulates Veer Pratap Singh of Grade 5 Daisy for bagging First Position in Mega Quiz Interzoid Inter School Event organized by DPSG Vasundhra. It was a three-stage quiz. He cleared the preliminary round from amongst 32 participants and became eligible for the semifinal round among 10 other Schools and finally stood first among 4 school in the Finals. INTERACT CLUB DPSG INTERNATIONAL PRESENTED WITH GOLD CLUB AWARD
We are extremely proud to share that Interact Club, DPSG International has been honoured with the Gold Club Award for continued excellence throughout the Rotary year 2020-21.
The efforts of the highly motivated members got due recognition for initiating projects like 'Plants Against Pollution' accompanied by a very successful plantation drive, awareness campaigns for vaccination and plasma donation during the second wave of the pandemic as well as hair donation camps for cancer patients in the area.
Aditri Narula, a student of Class XI, DPSGI added another feather in our cap when she was elected the Zonal Interact Representative (ZIR), District 3012 for the year 2021-22. This recognition has further encouraged the children to be of greater service to the society, spreading goodwill and peace throughout the world.
Kudos to Aditri Narula, Class XI, DPSG International for being appointed Zonal Interact Representative (ZIR), District 3012 for the Rotary year 2021-22. After a rigorous selection procedure, she has been chosen to lead young people to initiate changes which promote goodwill and peace in the society.
A very bright and promising teenager, Aditri has been part of the school Interact Club for the last 3 years, heading projects like 'Plants Against Pollution' accompanied by a very successful plantation drive. She has been actively involved in awareness campaigns for Vaccination and Plasma Donation during the second wave of the pandemic.
A psychology student and a budding poet herself, Aditri is passionate about community service and addressing environmental issues as well as the mental and emotional well-being of people in the society. We congratulate her and wish her all the best in this new role as a young leader to influence, motivate and achieve new milestones.
